I went to Taqueria Los Güeros (176 Bloomfield Ave., Bloomfield) for the first time to get take out last night and was really... disgusted by the odor and overall "dirtyness" of the place. The floors were greasy in places and sticky in others, kitchengarbage was visible on the floor in the main eating/waiting area, the hoods appeared as tho they'd never been cleaned and thewhole place smelled faintly of urine. My husband was unfazed by all this and wanted to proceed with ordering the food. It wasnot very good - very greasy with large chunks of fat. I was awoken at 2am with severe stomach pains and issues. I WOULD NOTrecommend this place. In fact, I've sent my concerns to the Bloomfield Department of Health. Hopefully this place will cleanitself up so no one else gets sick. Read more
The Absolute Worst Service Ever. I placed my order online at 3:15 pm to be delivered to my home at 7:42 pm. By 8:15, I had to... call 5 times before someone actually answered. When I finally got someone, they told me that someone from the earlier shift didnot put my order in and that it would take 30 minutes for my order to be prepared. The lady I spoke to was Mia. When I arrivedthey had not started my order and was not willing to refund or discount my order. The lady mia claimed she had never spoken tome! It is NOW 9:01 PM AND MY ORDER IS STILL NOT READY! There was another customer that came in awaiting their order that wassuppose to be ordered 2 hrs ago. OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER AND I LIVE LESS THAN 10 MINUTES AWAY! Read more
If you are looking for some delicious tacos, keep searching because you will not find them here. The meat here has absolutely NO... flavor. I ordered the carnitas, steak (which is stewed, not grilled), and tripe tacos. No hints of any attempt to season them. Ialso ordered the guacamole, which I have included a picture of. I was blown away! Not at how good it was but how they simplysmashed an avocado, put it in a container, and try to pass it for guacamole. Awful. I attempted to liven it up with the limesthey provided but they were drier than the carnitas. The chips were a mixture of old and fresh chips; and, probably the onlything that had some type of salt. I don't understand how they have/will open a second location but I do understand how theyoffer 30 tacos for $30; they have to get rid of them somehow. 2 different occasions I?ve place phone orders from the place and I arrive at time given plus ample buffer time, my order wasn?t... even in the queue and had wait 20 mins the first time and second time ( tonight) i left. Called at 8:13pm was told to pick up in20mins. I get there at 9pm. Terrible Read more
