Have to say, this is one of my favorite dining experiences I've had in a long time!! Everything was fantastic from our attentive... waitress to the delicious fresh food. Even the ambiance is a vibe!! I'm still in shock because The Ceaser Salad was incredible!That's how you know you have a good restaurant when the salad excites you!! We loved the potato chips to start. Great bigportion. We also got the Branzino and just wow! I didnt think I would like the toppings but it was FANTASTIC! Lastly this is thebest place to come for a birthday because their birthday cake was so festive and fun. Huge dessert portions. Everything is soworth the money! JUST GO! We're from Long Island but I'm going to find an excuse to be back in Jersey and go to The Brookdale! Read more
Had a good time. Service was wonderful. I wish I had gotten a picture of the big potato chip fries. Loved them and the grilled... chicken salad I fell in love the moment I noticed the avocado in it. And the ice tea is one of the best I've had in a long time.Great place to enjoy a meal. Read more
The service was impeccable. From the moment we walked in we felt such a chill vibe. The place is clean and has a very modern... look. The hostess was very sweet and made sure we sat in the kind of seats we were looking for. Our waiter was nice and checkedin often. But the food, oh my god the food was great, my steak was mouth watering... I cant wait to go back to eat it again.. Myfriends chicken parm was also delicious, and huge, there is no way 1 person can eat the entire thing. I had a bite of it, lovedit so much, i took the other half she left home with me for lunch. I will say though, although the 1 pound mozzarella isimpressive and beautifully served, the cheese was bland, it was alright I would not be ordering that app again. My husband sent me a text after seeing a reel on Instagram. He said, this place yas a 1 pound mozzarella stick. I said, do you... think the ratio of bread to cheese is good though? He said, there's only one way to find out. So we drove an hour to get there.It did not disappoint. The ratio was spot on, the stick was well seasoned and it came with a baby pool of yummy marinara fordipping. We also got the chips, the wings and the Premio egg rolls. Everything was hot and delicious. They brought it out as itwas done. We could not finish all of it and brought home quite a bit. The portion sizes are generous. I would definitely comeback here even if it's an hour away. The atmosphere is casual. There was a good mix of couples, young people and families. Itwould appeal to anyone. Me and a friend of mine decided to go get brunch from this spot. I had reservations for 1pm and when I arrived I parked on the... street nearby. I walked in and they had outdoor and indoor seating. The hostess asked my preference and we chose outside. Therestaurant was cute and I liked the color scheme. Emily was our server and she was nice. For drinks I got the rose sangria andmy friend got the watermelon sugar drink. The sangria was pretty tasty and my friend enjoyed her drink. For meals I got thechicken sandwich and she got the shrimp and grits. I liked my sandwich but I could of done without the chips because it wasbland and not good. My friend enjoyed her shrimp and grits. She said it had a little spice to it. My bill was about $30 total.All in all we had a good experience. Read more
I am pleasantly satisfied with my meal today. I was a fan of the Tavern before, but the Brookdale managed to take it up another... notch and the food is amazing. I still feel it's a bit over priced but it's expected for the area. I will definitely be comingback with the family again. I recommend the Korean BBQ tacos if your a fan, definitely try it out.
