Nice quaint clean rooms. We were in Walter 8 and 9. Walking distance to Bloomfield Main St. Short cab ride to Picton. In Sept... many eateries closed midweek so make reservations well ahead. Staff friendly. Would return. Would recommend. Read more

Great central location and lovely historical property to stay at. The rooms and decor inside have been upgraded for modern... comfort, while maintaining the original house's charm. Their restaurant is only open for drinks at the moment (breakfast if youorder the night before). However, the highlight of our stay was the incredible service we received, especially from Adam, whotook time of his busy day to tell us about the property, giving us recommendations on where to go, and playing with our toddlerand finding treats for her in the kitchen. Really close to the Sand Banks which is why we stayed there. We stayed in the Walter Motel and the room was a bit small which... was a bit of an issue since we had an infant and a toddler but we probably should have planned better. The room was really niceand along with the bathroom it looked redone. I'd recommend it for a quick stay if you're planning to visit the Sand Banks. Thestaff was really friendly and checking in was very convenient since we just grabbed the key in the door. Read more
Angeline's Inn exceeded our expectations! We stayed in one of the Walter motel rooms where the room was clean and comfortable.... The check-in experience was seamless as they provided the check-in information a day before we arrived. We went to the mainhouse where the bar and breakfast area is located - the decor/interior design is modern with a mix of small-town charm. It wasour first time going to Prince Edward County and Rose and Rob, the Front of House Managers, were super accommodating andprovided the best recommendations for local breweries, shops that fit our interests. We had such a great stay at Angeline's! Everything is beautifully decorated, including the Walter Motel rooms, which are modern,... bright, and airy. The grounds and garden are beautiful, and you can walk into the little village of Bloomfield where there areplenty of artisan shops and cafes. Adam and Alex, the owners, were great hosts - very welcoming, accommodating, and respectful.Indeed, all the staff that we met were absolutely amazing, and it was clear that they were working very hard to make sure thattheir guests have a wonderful time. This review is 5 years belated - I had an amazing time at Angeline's, food was great and they were very accommodating. I had... originally only booked one night in the B&B and when I decided to extend my stay they were able to accommodate me for anothernight night at Walter Motel (it was off season). Can only remember good things!! Would 1000% recommend staying here over theDrake. I am currently at the Drake Motor Inn and longing for the comfort of Walter's!! Read more
