Over rated and over priced. Friendly staff, waitress was awesome. Expensive apps. The calamari was gross, tasted burnt. Onion... rings and sauce were delicious. Great service and great food. The calamari was delicious with a beautiful balsamic topping. The Brussels sprouts that people... rave about were not at all what I expected;the candied bacon and Parmesan gave it a fantastic flavor but the breadcrumbsabsolutely ruined the texture. It was a bit of a soupy mess with weird consistency. The cheese curds were melt in your mouthwonderful! Loved the breading on those! The old fashioneds were delicious and strong enough to taste the bourbon but sweetenough to enjoy. Main course was the Iowa filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection and served with a generous amount ofbutter on top (much appreciated!). Potato wedges were decent but a bit overcooked however my dining partner enjoyed them. Ceasarsalad was very good and perfectly portioned. Dessert we had the butterscotch bread pudding which came with a scoop of vanillabean ice cream and all I have to say is WOW! Needs one additional scoop of ice cream but the flavors were on point, it was hotand melted the ice cream and got EVEN BETTER! Just order the bread pudding, you won't regret it! The creme brulee was fantasticand garnished with fresh berries. A nice touch! Scraping the bottom of the dish we could see the real vanilla bean seeds. A signof high quality ingredients! We are definitely returning for special occasions and cannot wait to try more items on themenu! Wait staff were very attentive and kept our drinks refilled and pace of meal was perfect. On a girls trip and we wanted a nice quick lunch. This was the perfect choice! The staff were all very friendly, the food was... fast and delicious. The place was beautiful and very clean. Being a restaurant employee myself I pay attention to the smallthings and I can say this place seems to be very well run. And best off all the employees looked to be enjoying themselves!!! Read more

If you are looking to spend $100 on good food, and feel like you are in a 1900s bed and breakfast. This is the place to go. The... Sea Bass was delicious and I recommend it. My potatoes were cold and had to wait 5 min for them to replate them. The dinnerrolls are store bought and frozen, which were disgusting. Rob Dobs is only missing a $300 king sized room to add to their bedand breakfast vibe. In short, not worth the money for the experience they are trying to give. Read more
My husband and I took my in-laws here for their anniversary. We all really loved it! The food was fresh and delicious. I got the... Smores drink. It was so good. We started off with cheese curds as the appetizer. I ordered the classic lasagna and my husbandhad the 16oz Ribeye medium rare. Not only was the food good, but the service was on point as well. Went to Rob Don?s 2 weeks ago for dinner and we were the only people in the restaurant minus a 10 top being seated. Our waitress... was friendly and we got our entrees within 5-7min my husband thought this was strange & immediately cut into his chicken Marsalameal and we couldn?t believe the rawness of the piece of meat you see before you. We refused to get it re-made and we werescared for our own safety and canceled our orders immediately. We will not be back. Read more
