We ate here for dinner. We spent about $65.00 for three people. We ordered an appetizer and 3 burgers. The food was bland and... for what we paid, it was not worth it. The ingredients were cheap. I honestly felt taken advantage of when wee left consideringthe cost and what was served to us. Read more

To start the food during breakfast is amazing here if you haven't been you have to try. Starting off I will say this is our... second visit, the first one was a tad better. When we arrived it was maybe close to 8 the resturaunt was dead there was no onethere and I mean even staff and the lighting is dim. We thought to ourselves were they closed the hours say 6 am-2 pm so we wereconfused and this was a Thursday. There was a gentleman walking around but he didnt say anything to us and it wasn't until hesat down that my husband asked if they were open. The gentleman replied yes he had just went on break but he did offer to findout where the other staff member was and finally settled on she should be back but that he didnt know where she was at themoment. I can't say I was pleased with this moment but again food sake it's worth it. We were finally greeted by a woman inwhich I can say she was friendly, attentive and made up for the first part of that experience but it's one again I think needsto be worked on because who's to say there were more ppl like us who would have came in that morning thought they were closedand left. Anywho I ordered an omelet (the works) which came with pancakes or toast and fruit or potatoes. I chose to pairpancakes and fruit with my omelet. My husband got his what could be referred to as his usual at this point apple pie pancakes. Our food took no time at all to come allowing us to share in light conversation while waiting. All was freshly cooked warm butnot scolding hot. All of it delicious outside of the fruit but I'm convinced there isn't a place that has delicious fruit thouit wasn't horrible still edible just not sweet and enjoyable. We even had leftovers which we were more than happy to eat lateron and still enjoyed just as much. We spent about 25 for the both of us which portion size I think is a pretty good dealespecially since we had leftovers to enjoy afterwards. This has actually at this point became a favorite for us and Read more

Not worth it. We got food delivered, we even live nearby so it wasn't in the car long. The food is mediocre. One major issue I... have is that we didn't get three of our items, the "onion rings" are inedible, and the burgers aren't even labeled. My wife andI got one meat and one impossible, which need to be labeled. The burgers are fine, nothing to write home about I'd say. I didn'tget chili on mine so maybe for someone who likes chili it would be better. The onion rings were not crispy by any stretch of theimagination, they were barely battered and barely cooked. I would not pay for them if someone offered them to me. They didn'thave the pickles in stock which we found out when we called about this, they refunded that bit. The fruit cup and mustard saucewere not included at all. Also, for this cost I would either expect a small portion of really amazing food or a lot of decentfood. What we got was a small portion of mediocre food. I had heard good things, and knew the Market Grille before this waspretty good so I was expecting better. If I try them again it will be with very low expectations, if at all. Read more

I assure you that I am not making this up - yesterday my wife and I, with our children, arrived at Wahlburgers in Bloomington... (attached to Hy-Vee) around 7:20 PM. We ordered our food (which, I might add, is significantly overpriced) and at that precisemoment the cook walked up to the register and told us that the broiler had just then "broke down" and he could not make anyhamburgers. He could not re-light the burners, etc. So, I ordered a pizza in Hy-Vee and my wife and kids ordered menu items atWahlburgers that didn't need the broiler (a salad, mac & cheese, a chicken sandwich, a couple of sides, etc.). We paid just over$40 for items that were our second choices at best, and waited. My pizza was ordered, prepared, finished, and paid for, and whenI walked back into Wahlburgers I discovered that none of the food my wife and kids had ordered had been served! Then, a youngwoman came by and reminded us that the store would be closing at 8:00 - it was then about 7:45. I told her that we didn't haveour food, and when she walked back into the food prep area to investigate, she discovered that the cook had up and left!! Hedidn't say a word to anyone - he just walked out, and made NO EFFORT to prepare our food. The female employee made sure we gotat least a couple of the items that were readily available, but my son got absolutely no part of his order. To her credit, thewoman issued us a full refund, and as we were leaving at 8:00 we overheard her on the phone with her manager, explaining thesituation. Hopefully, the cook will not be coming back, ever. Avoid this place if you can - we won't be coming back, ever. Read more

In the last months I have been here 3 times. Love the Thanksgiving Day Burger. The Adult birthday cake shake was yummy. Really... need to read the descriptions of the food for a good laugh. Read more

I can?t really rate the food as we never got a chance to eat it. Walked into the restaurant and we were standing there waiting... to be seated, no one ever acknowledged us. So we just decided to eat at the bar. The girl behind the counter was extremely rudeand told us they were busy(maybe 5 tables at the most had people) and she wouldn?t even be able to take our order for 30 minutesincluding drinks. We were like do you want us to leave??? And she said it?s up to you. So we left and went to a burger placedown the road where we were happily served. Won?t go back again. The Wahlbergs should be disappointed their business is beingrun like this. Read more

Chicken sandwich and tater tots are pretty good. My daughter love this place so we come often. All the workers are nice and the... guy behind the bar was helpful. Service is a little slow but overall good. The bathroom is always a disaster though Read more

Big disappointment, sky high prices and ok food without service. 17.50+tip for a burger, onion rings and water..... Had high... hopes but those hopes were dashed. The whole place is weird, it's in Hy-Vee but actually is a restaurant with a separateentrance and an entrance from the grocery store. I ordered the Dorchester Burger. The burger was fine, for the price it wassmall, it actually was a good size where I wasn't hungry and not stuffed. If you went with a family of 4 it is crazy that itwould be at least $100 w/ drinks. Got the onion rings and those were a let down. They weren't onion rings, rather what I'd callonion strings, very salty without any other taste. Fried to a crisp... Everything was extremely greasy, the sheet on the pan wasdripping wet. Here is what I don't get so you have a counter in the restaurant to order and that's where I ordered. It's allself serve but then the receipt has a tip spot. I ended up ordering at the counter then going inside to eat, the food came in areasonable amount of time, right around 20 minutes but the staff just dropped it off at the table, didn't say anything, didn'task if I needed ketchup or anything....so that was weird. I'd say they are trying to be like Shake Shack but not nearly asgood. It was worth trying but I won't go back. I don't recommend trying it as it's a waste of money and basically fast foodfor 2x the price. Read more
