Really Really good bagels.... setup like deli style, where you add what you want as you walk along the length of the... counter. Also have combinations of items that are named... if you're very hungry(and eat meat) you cannot go wrong with the"Hangover." If you are not a 250lb fatty like myself it will prob be two meals! The absolute best place to go for brunch in Bloomington. They make the food right in front of you and most of it is local here.... Unless it's Saturday morning, it's a super quick grab and go place for daily breakfast. The staff genuinely loves working thereand a lot of them have been there forever. Their Chai is for sure better than anything I've ever had anywhere else. Really alltheir drinks are. And the food is SO fresh, I never get a soggy piece of lettuce or bad onion and I'm a huge critic on that. Read more
I just wanted to tell the people working there that it?s a health violation to have your hair hanging all in your face and in... the food while preparing it as well as having such baggy shirts on that it drags across our bagel and cream cheese. It reallygrossed me out to see that happening but I didn?t want to cause a scene at the time, it was so busy. Also I had to remind thegirl making my order that I ordered a second sandwich and again when she forgot to put the fixings on that I ordered. **Editedto add that I went back a couple weeks later and the same girls are working there with their hair down and hanging everywherenot even looking like it was brushed. At least put your hair in a ponytail so it?s not hanging over our food when you make it.But from a health standpoint it really should be covered/in a hat. I don?t think I?ll be back at this point.
