I must start this review with the truth, that I am not critical of restaurants and service unless influenced otherwise. Arriving... to this spot for the first time, I was excited. My small family and I finished camping and were looking for something new totry. We chose to sit outside, where most of the service was happening, though most tables had already been helped. We waitednearly 10 minutes to be greeted and for our drink order to be taken. Another 6 minutes roughly for the handful of drinks. Ourserver was nice but not the most attentive to us yet a bit more to other tables. She took plenty of stops to visit her boyfriendas we waited for refills that she did not bring. Again, I am not normally critical but all of this waiting and watching began tofrustrate me. In total, we waited over an hour for fish tacos, tempura tenderloin, and two kids meals. The boyfriend got hisfood long before we did but came in after us. Some of the "fresh" food was not fresh (mandarins, slaw). I am just not pleased,should have spoke to a manager but was so ready to leave and now it is too early in the day to call. Hopefully no one else hasthis experience. Read more
We ordered Scenic View delivery the other day and it was the best we've probably had delivered. We liked it so much we actually... ordered a large order of biscuits and gravy the next week to take with us out of town. They worked with us to make sure we hadthe best experience when we got to our destination. It was super easy and delicious. 10/10 would do again. Read more
I messaged scenic view on Facebook to confirm that I could make a reservation for our party of five today. The general manager... Jessica was great and even asked if we needed a highchair for our little one. Our friends and I enjoyed a beautiful 65° morningoverlooking lake Monroe. Great view of lake Monroe from the patio. Food was delicious and so we're the Bloody Mary's. Service was a bit on the slow... side but I think they may have been short handed. Overall definitely worth the stop! Read more
The tempura pork tenderloin sandwich was delicious. The Benedict burger (Angus beef patty, ham, mushrooms, and egg on an English... muffin with Hollandaise) was also delicious. The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They sourceingredients locally when possible. It's a homey spot; the atmosphere was very casual. The view of the lake from the patio wasvery pretty. The service was outstanding. All these things combined to make for a very enjoyable dining experience. Read more
Great view. The food(breakfast) was very good. Service was professional and attentive. I had the Breakfast Bowl with a side of... bacon the first time I went, 3/5 stars on flavor. The second time I went I had the Smothered Burrito with a half order of B&G.Smothered burrito was 5/5 on flavor, excellent! Biscuits and gravy or ok but nothing special, 3/5 on flavor.
