Very disappointed again! its been over a year since I've tried them and the food and service was just as horrible. Such a... disappointment for what was a Bloomington staple for good food. The service was disappointing. First, our waiter didn't ask if we wanted drinks, we had to call him back for that. Then he said... the pickles were sweet, when they are dill. He switched our order, but that was an easy fix. He never asked if he could refillmy drink, which was a basic I expected. As for the food, the tenderloin sandwich was flavorless. But the fish sandwich was good.I especially enjoyed the house-made chips. The waiter didn't ask if we wanted dessert, either. Read more
Fries were not cooked properly. The marinaded pork in my gyro was dry and flavorless. My wife?s beef and lamb gyro was better... but by no means anywhere near the best. Pricing was definitely higher than the quality of the food. We will add the Trojan Horseto the list of restaurants to avoid. Read more

It's a very nice place and the staff is very friendly. Drinks are top notch. Specially the Adults-Only Baklava Milkshake. Gyros... Dinner is mediocre. The combination is so and so. The side salad was great. So took away one star. Sandwiches looks good. Didn'ttaste them unfortunately. It's a busy location. So best to make a reservation before turning up with a larger group. Trojan Horse is a great place to grab lunch in downtown Bloomington. We started with the hummus. It was tasty and the pitas it... was served with were warm. The Gyro was great! Very flavorful but I wish the feta was a bit more crumbled I got but chunks thatoverpowered the rest of the contents in some of the bites. Overall the lunch was great! Will definitely be back. Always stop in when I am in Bloomington and have the time. Really good Gyros and Greek food. Great service along with a bar,... drink specials, and the none Greek food is good too. It's an older place in the right kind of way! Read more
