The service and team were welcoming and professional. However, my review will be bit harsh this time and it's purely based on... taste. I asked what kind of ramen soup, like tonkatsu or soy sauce. No one can answer me correctly, lol. But I figured it out myself... because I'm Japanese! Stopped here while shopping during our first visit to Mall of America. The service was excellent as were the Duck Gyoza. We... enjoyed the rolls we got, but giving 4 stars because the proportion of ingredients somewhat took away from the meal (forexample, a ton of overpowering chili sauce making one roll overly spicy and large chunks of carrot in another that made it hardto eat a piece in one bite). Food and service were on the extreme ends of the quality spectrum...the dishes were divine but the service was dreadful. It... shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to get water and a menu, as the place was quite empty. Without getting into the specifics, Ispent too much time enduring great dishes but dreadful service. Food was not great, curry had a teriyaki taste and the buns they used seemed frozen and tasted old and bad. Would recommend only... trying the ramen because that was the only acceptable food in my opinion. Our waitress was super nice and awesome! Read more

Absolutely with our a doubt, this is the most expensive sushi place I have ever been to .. hands down. Everything tasted great,... but I am not sure that anything is worth the price we paid. My beer was $10 each and every roll (even spicy tuna) was excess of$10. Great food, great service, but way too pricey. I cannot see going back. However, of price does not matter to you, it is asolid average plus sushi place. Read more
