Me and a friend ate here tonight and had nothing but great things to say about the experience. We had the most AMAZING, sweet,... and attentive server July. She made our dining time wonderful - checking in frequently and making recommendations. The foodarrived promptly, tasted great, and the atmosphere was comfortable. We will definitely be back! Father's Day dinner in a soon to be crowded restaurant. Greeted & seated immediately. Waiter took drink orders promptly &... brought them to table quickly. Bottomless salad & bread sticks served in less than 3 minutes. 4 different entrees & child plateserved in about 5 minutes. Drink refills offered several times. Dishes looked & tasted great. Food was great. I had the 6 oz. Sirloin (comes with a fettuccine alfredo pasta portion) and was pleasantly surprised. Very... tasty. I was hoping for better service, though. I felt rushed. I hadn't yet touched my entree, and the server was alreadytelling me how to pay for my meal, and she never even asked me if my steak had been cooked to my order! Must have been arookie. I'll pay more at a better restaurant next time, if I want anything resembling fine dining. Read more
First and foremost, Olive Garden is one of my favorite restaurants. I try to stop at Olive Garden whenever I find one because... the food is usually amazing. I stopped in this location in Bloomington and it was not up to expectations. The service washorrible. Outside the person who greeted us coming in and one of the three employees sitting near the door visiting with eachother, there was not a single piece of evidence they wanted customers. The waitress/server ignored us three separate times.First, we ordered a chicken Alfredo and got fettuccine Alfredo instead. We didn't complain. It happens. My son said he did notwant cheese on his soup and she put some much cheese we were a bit put off. Our final issue was her overall rudeness. I get thatjobs can be rough. We can all have a bad day. I just didn't feel like we were wanted there and for the price we paid it was aterrible experience. The bread sticks were hard as the bricks used to erect the buildging.
