Father's Day dinner in a soon to be crowded restaurant. Greeted & seated immediately. Waiter took drink orders promptly &... brought them to table quickly. Bottomless salad & bread sticks served in less than 3 minutes. 4 different entrees & child plateserved in about 5 minutes. Drink refills offered several times. Dishes looked & tasted great. Food was great. I had the 6 oz. Sirloin (comes with a fettuccine alfredo pasta portion) and was pleasantly surprised. Very... tasty. I was hoping for better service, though. I felt rushed. I hadn't yet touched my entree, and the server was alreadytelling me how to pay for my meal, and she never even asked me if my steak had been cooked to my order! Must have been arookie. First and foremost, Olive Garden is one of my favorite restaurants. I try to stop at Olive Garden whenever I find one because... the food is usually amazing. I stopped in this location in Bloomington and it was not up to expectations. The service washorrible. Outside the person who greeted us coming in and one of the three employees sitting near the door visiting with eachother, there was not a single piece of evidence they wanted customers. The waitress/server ignored us three separate times.First, we ordered a chicken Alfredo and got fettuccine Alfredo instead. We didn't complain. It happens. My son said he did notwant cheese on his soup and she put some much cheese we were a bit put off. Our final issue was her overall rudeness. I get thatjobs can be rough. We can all have a bad day. I just didn't feel like we were wanted there and for the price we paid it was aterrible experience. The bread sticks were hard as the bricks used to erect the buildging. Our experience started off amazing! Our waitress was fabulous and immediately brought us extra breadsticks. We were so... impressed with how busy she was and how attentive she was that we were going to give her our weekly Covid tip (we choose someoneonce a week to give a huge tip to as a thank you for working). Well, it quickly went downhill. She never came to check on usafter our food was brought. There wasn't near enough sauce on my alfredo, so the noodles were sticky and dry. My husband'schicken in his alfredo was legit grisly, we didnt get a single refill until 10 minutes before we left and she never brought us asingle refill on the "unlimited" breadsticks. Then we asked for a box and it took another 10 minutes. There was even extra foodon our bill that we had to wait for them to take off. Needless to say, our weekly Covid tip is still up for grabs and I'm sad Ididnt get any breadsticks with my slightly tasteless leftovers today! **update** we went again in april 2022 and the serviceand food are still not amazing! Our visit here was very nice. Food was nice hot and delicious! Got seated right away and the best thing ever was the service. We... came in around 3:17pm ans were there for a short time. I wasn't able to get the name of our waitress but she had short prettyhair. she was AMAZING TOO! Very sweet person she sold us a nice bottle of wine. she has the best customer service ever.
