One of my very favorite places by far. We weren?t overly impressed with the waitress this time- kinda supply and short with us.... The broccoli is the best I?ve had anywhere. Our waiter was wonderful and very understanding! I took my mom there after her cataract surgery and shortly after our meal... arrived she got a little sick. Our waiter came over with an understanding look and asked if we needed boxes to go. He broughtthe boxes over, I helped my mom packed her meal up and off we went. Our waiter was phenomenal and if we go there again I hope weget him. The staff was great, our waiter was very prompt, the restaurant was clean and the product shop was loaded. Greatexperience!! If you've been to one you've been to them all, with a few exceptions I'm sure. I've been going to cracker barrel for as long as... remember and no matter what state or time of day they are probably the most consistent in terms of service, quality of food, andeasily one of the best in value compared to portion sizes and quality. Okay. This was with out a doubt the absolute worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my life. There was 5 of us including... my 3 year old niece who we ordered fried shrimp and Mac and cheese to come out first( This was the only thing that came out in atimely manner) my mother?s lemon for her coke came out a half hour after she ordered the coke. We waited over an hour for ourfood. We are watching people who came in after us being served and finishing their meals. My mother ordered vegetable soup and agrilled cheese. I ordered a sweet potato a salad and hashbrowns. My brother-in-law ordered roast beef, and my sister orderedsides as well. Eventually, we got up to tell the manager what was going on. She came out, looked at us and instead ofapologizing and taking credit for the awful service, she literally said that it was taking so long because they were ?slicingthe roast beef?. During this time we had to clean our own table and After having to complain AND having to beg for some biscuitswhile waiting an abnormally long time for food, The waitress came with our food. My mothers grilled cheese was literally twoslices of cheese on plain bread and it Looked as though they did not even try to make it appear melted. We sent this backimmediately as it was laughable and insulting. They forgot my sweet potato which was the main course of food I ordered. Mybrother-in-law?s roast beef looked awful and my sisters food was cold. This was a nightmare after being out traveling all dayand us thinking we could go to a familiar restaurant for a comfortable sit down meal. We will never return to a Cracker Barrelagain? it was so terrible that it was actually funny. This was my brother-in-law?s first time to a Cracker Barrel which he waslooking forward to. Justin is a fantastic server! He truly went above and beyond with assisting us and really made us feel welcome. My partner had... the chicken and biscuits with macaroni side and baked beans side. I had the loaded tater tot casserole appetizer. And achocolate coca cola cake for dessert (one of my favorite cakes)! Everything was delicious, this experience actually made me wantto go to cracker barrel more often. Read more

We go carry out on Monday night. Our food was ready at the exact time they said it would be, the cashier was friendly and called... me the second they brought out our food. Everything looked and tasted delicious. What ever you are doing , please teach theCracker Barrel in York PA. To do the same. We will definitely stop by again next time we are in town! Read more

Very good service and good food. Recommend to try their Maple Bacon Chicken. The food pops on your mouth. Also really cool gift... shop in it too. And has a good candy shop. When you go there make sure you have extra money on you. Read more
