Food is good. Service is great. They try to be like a restaurant but the atmosphere is more like a bar.

Recently we hosted a diaper party at the Lightstreet Hotel. Beginning with my initial contact with Angie to reserve the date... and ending with the event's conclusion, Angie and her staff were very accommodating, friendly, and eager to meet all our needs. The room was spacious, but with the warm Fall decor and lighting, it felt very inviting. We went with the appetizer party menuand the food was delicious and plentiful. Intimate atmosphere, spacious dining area, private dining areas for large parties and events, out door seating when weather... permits and a full tavern/bar. My family had a variety of pasta, fish, burger and flat bread meals and a delcious chocolate cakedessert. It was delicious, highly recommend this restraunt for someone looking for a delciois meal away from rhe University, butclose to the high way. Will definitely be coming back. Read more
Lightstreet was so good! The service was so quick, I was shocked at how quickly food/drinks came out. Our waitress was also... super nice and had only been there for about a month. She was really knowledgeable about the menu. The highlight was the burger.Probably the best I've had! My boyfriend got the skewered lobster, and I had the Hoss burger. SO good. Our friend got theseafood Alfredo and that was also tasty! That had a bit too much sauce for his liking though. The spinach dip was alsofantastic. The fishbowl drinks were huge and strong. Great experience. The service is good. Food is good. Atmosphere is nice, it seemed a little dark in the dining area but it was... still nice. The crab fries are delicious! Actual lumps of crab meat. The wings are good as well. Read more
As always, and by choice, we sat at the bar to eat. The food was great. The bartender was friendly, perfectly attentive, but... not overbearing. Really comfortable atmosphere. Very reasonably priced for the quality of what we had. Only reason for 4stars, is they need to give people alittle time between courses. Really hate getting my meal right after my appetizer isdelivered. Weren't even half done with the apps. Still would return and ask to have time between courses. Read more
