When visiting my son down near Bloomsburg University, we love to eat at this quant but quite hopping pub downtown. Our favorite... appetizer by far is the fresh soft pretzels with the special mustard sauce we all think tastes absolutely amazing. I love theBoom boom shrimp wrap too! On February 19, 2022, we ordered a few items for take out. One of those items was a burger that my husband had ordered. After a... few bites of our dinners, we were left in utter shock, disgust and fear. Cooked into my husbands burger was a very large andreal screw. He noticed the screw after biting down onto it, which caused one of his front teeth to chip. A chipped tooth is verydisappointing and frustrating, but what if he had swallowed it?! The outcome could have been a lot worse. We have 3 smallchildren who were enjoying their meals at the time. We went into an immediate state of panic and fear that they had swallowedsomething very dangerous as well. My husband immediately called the restaurant and the manager apologized and said that someonewould call us back either that evening or tomorrow. We never received a return phone call. It has been almost 2 months and westill have not received a phone call from the restaurant. We were never even offered a refund for our meals. How will this beresolved? No action from the restaurant is completely unacceptable. Update: West End Ale Haus called me, apologized, refundedus for our meals and sent us a Visa gift card. Read more
Food was amazing, Jordan was our cook our burgers were phenomenal!!! Done to perfection ???? while our waitress was Monica she... was just as amazing, she was quick on noticing when we needed drinks refilled or extra napkins as to allowing us tyme to enjoyour meal without over questioning us on have things were or if everything was good. Highly recommend . Everyone seemed to workas a well adjusted team. Thanks everyone , you made our experience memorable. Definitely going back! Read more
