We were fortunate to snag an early reservation in October and the experience was absolutely magical. Elegant yet comfortable... setting with breathtaking views, lovely wines and delicious food!!! Stayed in the Colonial on a weekend away with the Mrs. Room was phenomenal, amenities were great, views were spectacular.... Breakfast & supper were top of the line. Pricy, but worth every dime. Read more
I can only echo the laudatory reviews — a really charming, warm-feeling B and B where the views are absolutely stunning and... the cool mountain air so refreshing. Would fancy being stuck there in the winter snow too. Not quite worth 5 stars in my book,but we would return most definitely as there is nothing to beat it in that area. It’s a curious, rather quirky place — 10bedrooms in an atmospheric old stone manor house, friendly, helpful staff and a quality (expensive) restaurant that is a dinnerdestination in itself. The interiors though are crammed with dark, heavy furniture — it cries out for a richly coloredrefurbish. But that’s just the designer in me. Very patchy wifi. It’s well worth a stay - the Old Master and Sunrise roomswith private terraces and gorgeous views are the ones to go for, and you’ll have to book months ahead. Book directly with theinn as you must book for the restaurant at the same time to get in ahead of the crowd. Read more

This place is so lovely. We stay here partly to enjoy the amazing restaurant at night and the breakfast in the morning. However... the Inn and the views from some of the rooms are really special. We've made good memories here, thank you. Read more
Truly a spectacular inn. The family that runs it is delightful. The rooms have such thoughtful details..I want to move in. The... views will make you pine for a simpler life of yester year.
