Nice renovation but the "order here, pay there" doesn't work because it's the "honor system". The cashier has no clue what you... ordered. I didn't wait long but my egg and cheese on a bagel was totally cold. They're not crowded like they used to be. Overalltaste is good, coffee is good, I like the new serve yourself beverage area. I've been eating these delicious bagels and bialys since i was a squirt. My daughter however will only eat the egg bagels and... when they were missing this morning out of our order she was devastated. I just want to give out a shout to Forest for making a6 year old extremely happy. He drove out of his way to bring us our bagels ???????? thank you so much! Read more
WOW WOW WOW!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Coming from one of the largest Jewish communities with lots of kosher options, this place... takes the winning. the freshness crunch and smoothness of each bite you take of these (award winning) bagels will %1000 leaveyou wanting more. Aside from the most fantastic bagel shop I?ve ever come across, the staff (Forest and Benny) are truly one ofthe kindness staff I?ve ever met. The real ?hometown? bagel shop vibe makes the experience even greater. I?m almost tempted toturn the car back and grab just one more. Update 6/24/22: have Marx a second try. The owner made it right and comp'd my order, staff was friendlier and my order was... perfect! Loved the tomato bagel, chives cream cheese, swiss cheese, egg and veggie sausage sandwich!!! Made this review go from3 to 5 stars!!! Highly recommend! The cream cheeses are out of this world! Usually the issue is not having enough cream cheeseand having too much bagel. But let me tell you that is not the problem here! You get a load of cream cheese. You could probably,easily eat two bagels with the amount of cream cheese you receive for one order and there are like 10 different cream cheesesand 10+ bagel types to choose from. The only issue that could make your experience go from a 5 star experience to a 3 starexperience is the staff, particularly just the guy who took our order. He was incredibly rude and if the bagels weren't sogreat, I would have give a 1 star review based on how he treated us. He was so rude and did not take questions well at all,saying "what do you mean the breakfast sandwich" and then when we gave him what we meant by a breakfast sandwich, bagel, egg,cheese, cream cheese he said "fine" and then gave one of us a breakfast sandwich, and the other he gave us a bagel with creamcheese and in a separate container a flat egg. What a hidden gem. Went heat for the first time after driving by it for almost 10 years. I have been missing some of the best,... if not, the best bagels in town. There bagels were fresh and their cream cheese options were fantastic. I ordered a SmokedSalmon and cream cheese Everything bagel and it was outstanding. The salmon is already mixed with the home made cream cheese andit was delicious. Definitely making this a place to stop by regularly. Strawberry cream cheese and peanut butter and chocolatechip cream cheese were also great! Read more
Under new ownership and major remodel. The place looks great and egg salad on poppy seed bagel is still worth the visit to Blue... Ash. The staff is excellent. Good job! Read more
