My wife and I tried China Star for the first time today. We drove past 3 or 4 other Chinese restaurants to come here based on... good reviews. We were not disappointed, the food and service were excellent! Our order was still being made fresh in front of uswhen we arrived. Great food and great staff made for a great experience. Been going here for years,at least a decade! Food has always been awesome, very gotten anything bad. The owners are every nice... and very hard working family and remember us. The bad reviews on here are a joke, complaining about the littlest things. Gettinggiven a plastic bag means a 1 star? People need to re-evaluate life. Read more
The experience with the staff (owner?) was awesome! Asked about a sauce, and she offered an homemade version, free of charge. I... can see her doing this with long-time customers or friends and family, but surely not me who she has never seen before! Verygrateful for this experience. I know this is the hot place in Blue bell but I was extremely disappointed. Specifically with the customer service. The owner is... rude and pushy and quick to get you off the phone. I tried to order scezhuan chicken and get veggies instead of rice because Iam a diabetic and cannot eat the rice. I go to get my order and they give me vegetable fried rice that I have to pay an extra 4$for even though I cannot eat it. I asked if I could in addition order stir fried veggies and she was rude and yelled I cannotdo that and it needs to be a whole other order. I will NEVER come back. The owner refused to right the mistake that SHE made andwas ignorant. I work in the industry and have never been so appalled. I highly recommend going to the Golden sea in blue bellinstead. Best Chinese food store in Montgomery County in my opinion. The woman there is so sweet and works hard. Service has always been... great. The food is good and you can tell a differance in taste and presentation. Always will be a customer! Read more

Firstly, I have no pictures of my food because it was so delicious I ate it before I even thought to pick my phone up! I ordered... the “Shrimp and Broccoli combination plate” which came with a egg roll. The food from this establishment was so fresh anddelicious, it was made quickly and the owners were extremely pleasant from taking my order, to verifying I had the correctaddress, and picking up my food. I could tell everything was freshly made and just fresh overall. I will be back and alsorecommending everyone in my office to choose this restaurant when ordering Chinese.
