W.O.W. This place was amazing. Top notch best experience. Honestly, as a foodie, this was the best Indian food in the Montgomery... county area. I love spicy and they balance flavor and spice-level perfectly without the spice being overwhelming. Usually lambleaves a strong gamey taste that I dislike but the Lamb RoganJosh was so soft and not gamey at all. I enjoyed all the dishes andleft satisfied. The service was also amazing, wasn?t burdensome and at the same time I didn?t feel neglected at all, our waiterHappy was more than welcoming. Will most definitely be coming back! Read more
We came here on the way home from NYC and it was an excellent end to the weekend. The smell as we entered was very appetizing.... The vegetable pakora appetizer was perfectly crispy. The lamb Tikka masala and mango chicken curry had perfectly cooked meat andthe medium sauce was well described. The naan had a wonderful fresh taste. Well recommended. Read more
Staff here are amazing. Modern Indian dishes in cozy chic setting. Always a favorite. We had vegetable samosas, chicken curry,... chicken biyriani and a selection of garlic naan, aloo paratha, and poori. BYOB, fyi the front door can look dark and sometimesfeels like they are not open, but pull strong on the right door. Read more
Very high quality food and taste. Little pricey but worth the try. I got the biryani and lamb curry. Absolutely delicious.... Flavor, oil and the spice level everything was perfect. I love this Indian restaurant. Happy Grover is courteous and efficient in taking your orders and making sure you are well taken... care of. The food is awesome. Amazing meal as always served by Grover the best waiter. Cauliflower appetizer was crisp and tasty, mildly spiced as we asked. ... The mixed Tandoori grill is enough for 2 (salmon, shrimp, chicken and lamb), and be sure and ask for a side of Tandoori sauce. The bread trio is plenty to take home (We picked cheese, onion and garlic). And don't sleep on dessert! The fried milk balls(think munchkin donut) served in honey/rosewater sauce is amazing. Nice place, great food! One of the best Indian food we have had in the States. Fantastic service. Happy Grover brings the menu... and takes your order fast, makes sure you always have water, he checks on you after you have received your meal and we reallylike that they are not intrusive like some places that interrupt guests constantly when they are enjoying a meal and havingconversations. Our family decided to give Nirvana Bistro a try and we were really impressed by the service and quality of 3 appetizers, 7... entrees and dessert. I felt like the staff was welcoming us into their kitchen and took great care of us while we dined. We aredefinitely coming back! Read more
