It was our 1st time visiting as we are new to the area. I liked my wings. The drinks were good as well.. The 2 that ordered the... shrimp and grits had the same complaint, that it was ridiculously salty. Neither one of them finished it. Even upon mentioningit, nothing was really done about it. we went Wednesday evening for the new opening, menu changes and a little redesign I had the CORNISH HEN Fried Crispy, Wilted... Arugula, Roasted Red Bliss Potatoes, Chicken Gravy. not to over rate but the best Chicken i have ever had!!! My wife had theSHRIMP AND GRITS once again out of this world. i have always looked for a restaurant with a nice atmosphere friendly people andto top it off that certain Dish that you can't get anywhere else. Our family LOVES The Dogwood. We live locally and have been going in weekly since it's opened. My husband would probably want to... move if their smash burger didn't exist! The food is some of the best in town and they are always serving fun cocktails! We'vedone our birthdays, anniversaries, wedding reception, you name it! Always have a great time with family here! The staff is super accommodating to any of our needs (like my MIL's weird black... pepper allergy), and the atmosphere is perfect for hanging out. The food is wonderful too. This is where we go for a more casualhang, but we also love their sister spot The Black Sheep next door for a more formal dining experience. Read more

Great location. Their "Sister" restaurant, The Black Sheep, is the reason we originally came. They sent us here as they were... full and couldnt seat us. Big mistake. Food was below average (to be nice). Wont return. Too many other options in town thatare better. Read more
