Cute decor. Nice menu. Great service. Quickly seated, but went fairly early in the evening. I was surprised at how many kids... were there, because it sounded more like it was suitable for adults. Ordered the crab dip and fish and chips. My friend orderedthe chowder and fish and chips. Food was ok, but the batter on the fish was maybe more like what I'd imagine the English fishand chips would be like. I didn't care for it. Crab dip was good. A high quality seafood restaurant in the mountains I was surprised but very happy to find this place. Visited twice and sat at... the bar. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area which was helpful for a tourist like me. Excellent whiskeyand Bourbon selection but several good cocktail choices for gin tequila and vodka. The French onion soup was light and savory.For my entree I got the Miso cod and my goodness was it delicious. The bitter greens and earthy mushrooms paired perfectly tooffset the sweet funky miso. The cod was done perfectly and just melted into the noodles. Hints of maple syrup underlying thewhole dish made for an excellent dining experience. Jess behind the bar made up some great custom cocktails and providedeveryone excellent service both nights. It was good. Just missing that little bit extra to be 5 stars. The steak was very good, however it comes covered in the same... gravy that they put on the mashed potatoes. I'm not a fan of that. I want to taste the steak. My fiance got the lobster macaronidish. It was amazing. Plus, they have my favorite wine: Caymus. It was a little too warm for my liking, but the place was packedand it was a very hot day. Bump the AC down a few degrees, please. Oh, and fix the super wobbly table in your bar area.All-in-all, I would definitely come again. Read more

A best of Blue Ridge! This place took me by surprise from the moment we walked in. Very casual walking in but the staff was the... epitome of professional and class. Once seated, we knew we chose correctly. Our waiter, Daniel, walked up and really set thetone. Knew everything about the menu and drink options to impressive detail. This man will walk you through every flavor profileavailable. In the off chance there is something he?s not ready for, he goes above and beyond to ensure you have all youdesire. From the impressive decor, and the shocking high quality apps, to the show stopping specials and main courses thisplace never once disappointed. I walked out wishing I had more room so I never had to pick just one entrée. To speak volumesof the business, the manager, Caroline I believe, was leading her team while also picking up oyster shucking duties. Leadingfrom the front is the sign of a continuously successful business. Not to mention, they were fresh and delicious. (Missed picsof my main course because I was too excited ate it too quick!) Very classy Whiskey bar, and they aren't stingy on their water either. :) Beautiful bar, with an attached restaurant. I did not... try any of the food, but from my observations, most of the other customers seemed very pleased. I enjoyed my experience, Iwould gladly get a cocktail again here after a nice day on the trails. The servers all seemed happy, and in good spirits. Ourbartender, Matt, was also good company.
