I used to love to eat here. But I've ordered their Hawaiian fried rice with chicken twice now, and both times there were no... raisins and no pecans as described. Tonight called to place an order for pick up and was told there is no Thai food beingserved. Unbelievable. Read more

We have ordered take out from here several times and dined in here several times as well. We had previously been very satisfied... with their quality and value. Tonight, we decided to try one of our favorite dishes, Chirashi, which we had not ordered fromShogun previously. Chirashi, as we've always known it, is a delicious bowl of fresh sashimi with egg, crab, seaweed salad aswell as calamari salad. Everywhere else we have ordered this dish we have been pleased; sometimes having more than we couldfinish. Tonight was not that case. We were served a sad bowl of 5 or 6 pieces of sashimi on an ice cream scoop of rice. WithNOTHING else. An absolute disappointment. Two bowls of this for $30. Manager said, "different restaurants, different styles ofdishes". Apparently their style is terrible raw fish sundae with no toppings. Worst part is, I could have gotten the deluxesashimi for a few dollars more, which apparently came with 16 pieces of sashimi... 3 times the amount! When I tried to bringthis to the attention of the MOD, I was rudely told, "I just work here." Fantastic. We left... not punishing our server for theshortcomings of the restaurant, which clearly didn't care about our concerns. Suffice it to say, we will be traveling outside ofBluefield for our sushi fix....a shame, because this could have been resolved before we left the restaurant... If the managerhad given a fish. Fresh, tasty and friendly service! Our party ordered a mix of sushi, hibachi and noodle dishes - everything was great. Plus lots... of vegetarian options! (Just wish they had a peanut-avocado roll ????) Read more

Not a place I would go back to. The best part was the service (and miso soup).

Sushi was excellent. A little pricey for the special rolls but well worth it in my opinion. Hot tea was just a bag rather than... steeped in a pot so will skip over it next time but otherwise the food itself was phenomenal. Read more

Very hip place to eat. Young crowd and pop music playing. The building itself is nice. Staff hang out at a table in the dining... room but are not lax on customer service! Quick friendly service and my glass was always full! Food is exactly what you wouldexpect. Nothing to write home about but good. I always eat here when I?m in the area! Read more

Delicious food, lovely ambiance, and our waitress was attentive, friendly, and fast! My compliments to the chef/chefs as well... for a tasty, well prepared meal. Even my 86 year old grandmother loved the food! Read more
