I had never eaten here before today. We get there , everything is going great enjoying our meals great service. UNTIL, (I had... went in a group with some close friends from a club we are all in together , one friend had their 8 month old with them; and Ihad my 11 month old with me). It's important that I point out my daughter has a medical condition called Transverse Defencieny,this condition resulted in her having a congintal amputation of her right hand. Aka, she only has one hand (left) she does nothave a right hand. Now, at one point the server goes to the other baby and hands her a maraca.. I'm sitting here thinking "well,where is my daughter's maraca to play with too?" My daughter was having a blast dancing to the music while eating and everythingto mind you. Anyway, she begins to sit there and just STARE at the other baby with her maraca and at one point my daughter beganto have tears form in her eyes. I'm getting really heated, the server walked past my daughter several times. She even lookedright at her multiple times before and after this. Then my friend (the other baby's father ) asks the server "did you want thisbag" server says yes and grabs it, server begins to walk toward us looks right at my daughter (here I am thinking oh good she'sgoing to let her have a turn with it). She shakes her head (she was om her right side, which she's missing her R hand) and turnsback the other way and puts the msraca up. everyone else can think what they want about this situation but I PROMISE YOU amother's intuition is 99% correct and, they absolutely descriminated against my child all because she's missing her R hand. Nexttime, just ask if the other parent if their child would like to play with it too wether you think/know they are capable of it ornot!! My daughter is absolutely distraught and wad even making angry faces at the other baby! She's too young to know it wasn'tthe other baby's fault. Absolutely appalled and will not be returning ! My husband and I sat down in this restaurant after some light shopping and walking around the Mercer Mall and decided we would... have some Mexican food. The place was sparsely decorated but the staff was friendly enough. As I was asked what I would like todrink, I requested a beer, the server told me they didn't have any alcohol and I said, but you have it on the menu as beingavailable. He then told me they were awaiting their liquor license. I was disappointed with that but they made up for it withthe food they served. It was most flavorful and the presentation was on point.
