Best BBQ I?ve had in South Carolina. Ribs were right up my alley. Fall off the bone and well seasoned. Pull pork was not over... pulled like a lot of places tend to do. The BBQ was pretty good. The meat was very good the sauce good but I like a little sweeter BBQ sauce. The real winner they... have is their Sweet Potato Casserole!!! Delicious! Don't miss it. I was disappointed in the Brunswick Stew. It was likevegetable soup with BBQ seasoning. Not bad but not like the meat stew I expected. The service was good and we were servedfairly quick. Read more
The food was great!!! The ribs fell off the bone perfectly cooked. Got collards and sweet potato casserole for sides,... wonderful. I got three sides for a vegetable plate, the fries were fresh cut with skin on, best I have had in long time,macaroni and cheese perfect, and cole slaw made in house. Ted has created a BBQ masterpiece! I say Ted like I know him and I feel like I do, extremely friendly chap who knows his way... around a pit. Food is excellent. Not a fan of counter-serve but this place does it right. Great feel, wonderful staff, you can'tgo wrong in old town. Dog friendly patio to boot! Read more
Good BBQ, awkward atmospehere. Very few tables indoors and arranged oddly. Feels like your watching everyone eat their food... and listening to their conversations. Only 1 sauce to choose from and food is a bit spicy but overall it was a good meal. Read more
