If you never been to the main location in Hermitage PA, you are totally missing out. This place has to be the off brand branch.... Maybe bc I did get take out at this location. But does not taste the same. I was super happy you guys brought us a combinebrothers to the area. But now you can take it back. Ill still drive over an hour to the Main one. Get your money back frombuilding this place now unless you have improvements coming for the taste/portions. The ones that never had combine brothers. Doyourself a huge favor an take your taste buds an heart to the Hermitage location thank you ???? ? PS. Bring back the massiveportions you used to have no need to be stingy with a packaged restaurant everyday. Read more
Cold food for both of us! Mine was a signature dish with loads of garlic n oil at bottom that was not mixed with pasta which... made it messy to mix n when mixed carefully it taste so strong galic n oil the kind used straight out of a jar. It made mystomach upset immediately. They brought me another popular dish it was okay but cold in middle same for other dish it was okayone meatball warm at best but other meatball cold so we paid our bill still left a 20% tip. Don one of the owners was sitting at the bar when we arrived. He was very personable and also shared his wine with me, which was... Palermo Cabernet. He offered different dishes to try and he was spot on! We had the fried greens, and beer mussels forappetizers. I ordered the ziti w marinara sauce, 3 meatballs and added sausage. My husband had the shrimp alfredo and addedscallops. Everything was amazing!! Even ran into my old coworker P.W., who had told me to try the restaurant out 21yrs ago whenHermitage was the only location. Talk about the irony! Update: Stopped in with my daughter tonight for dinner on Thursday, 08-04-22 and something has changed! The Wedding Soup was... over salted to where it was not even worth eating and the lasagna was not as good as the previous visit. No... I would avoidthis restaurant as the quality of the food is deteriorating! I see this as another failed restaurant soon! YOU GOTTA EAT HERE!Excellent Italian Food! First we walked and and was greeted by our server who walked us to our table, seated us, took our drink orders, all tye while... having a lollipop in her mouth. However, she was super nice and very punctual. The side salad was not really what I consider asalad. It was some lettuce with croutons, and that's it. Also, only 3 salad dressing choices are available. Ordered theBrushetta as an app. It was very good. Fiance ordered a salad with shaved beef and it was beautiful and huge. I orderedlinguine tossed with olive oil and garlic tipped with the greens and shaved beef. The olive oil and garlic sauce was bland andlackluster. First time eating here at Combine Brothers. Truth be told it is worth the stop, the menu is loaded with plenty of options when... it comes to pasta and the choice of noodles you can have. The wedding soup was out of this world, perfection, if you have todecide between the soup or salad, definitely go for the soup. The salad is all greens and shredded carrots, no tomatoes, onions,but it does have the stale bread bits on it though. The fresh bread was spot on, perfection.I had the Diavolo, stewed tomatoes,zucchini, onion, cayenne and crushed red pepper with Ziti noodles. This dish had the perfect amount of heat and zing, She hadthe Alfredo and it was perfect and great tasting too. If you're in the mood for pasta, give Combine Brothers a try, you won't bedisappointed, the servings, options and common courtesy from the waitress as well. Dined in, the chicken parmigiana was horrendous. Was a grilled breast and it was small and dry like it was reheated. No... mozzarella cheese, just some shredded parmigiana cheese that was dry and stinky tasting. The pasta was mushy and pre cooked. The bread was very delicious. The meal was lackluster and juvenile at best. I felt like I was in a cafeteria. Very pricey toofor what you get. Read more
Went to Combine with my husband and can't say enough about how great the food, service and staff were to us. Love the loaves of... bread and salad. We both got different sauces and pastas and both were delicious. The portion size is huge. Definitely will beback. Read more
