I have visited the Boaz store many times in hopes of having a peaceful dinner before I head home after work. Sadly, the dining... room is always closed, so I've taken my business elsewhere. We had been seeing the commercials for Popeyes and my husband had not been there in many years, so we decided to give it a try.... He ordered a 3 piece chicken meal- he received a breast and assuming a leg or chicken tender. The fries were old and cold. Andthe "jalapeño poppers" were nothing more than plain jalapeños. They were out of everything!!! ???? They didn't have Dr pepper, so I asked for mountain dew & they were out.... I asked for a... receipt & the printer was down... I was asked to pull up & wait for my food, then they come out after I was sitting there for 10minutes & told me they were out of spicy chicken... I asked for a refund & they told me to come back they next day for it !!!????????After another 10 minutes I finally got my $ back & left !!! Stopped in Boaz for a late meal after watching a basketball game in Albertville. The Manager (Michael) was awesome ????????.... Our food was fresh and he was courteous also. It was at 9pm I know they were close to closing but we never felt like it Pleaselet him know how thankful we are for his awesome customer service! Read more
I?m disappointed with my experience here. We stopped to get a quick meal, and ordered chicken tenders. What we got was not... tenders, they had bones which we don?t eat. The mashpotatos were subpar at best and have way too much seasoning. The price wasridiculous, $10 for a 3 price tender meal! We likely won?t be visiting again. Read more
I drove up Sunday afternoon about 1:15 with 1 car in front of me. I understand everyone is experiencing a lack of employees but... it's also paying attention. I ordered 1 3 strip spicy combo with fries and a coke, 1 dinner with 5 piece strip half spicy, halfmild, with mashed potatoes and gravy and 1 2 piece dark meat with mashed potatoes and gravy. Total was $27.33. I had my moneyready when I got to the window. The gal took my bills but before I could give her the coins, she turned to the register. Got thefull money paid and she gives me a bag with 3 tenders, mashed potatoes, and a coke then closed the window. I sat there waitingfor the rest of my food. She comes back with blacked ranch dipping sauce and closes the window. Again I wait. She comes back, Isaid I'm missing my 2 dinners. She told the other person I needed 2 dinners. The other gal brings those to the window and Iconfirm they have the sides. They didn't, she brought them back to the back then back to me. I open them (one 2 piece spicytenders, 1 3 piece mild tenders) and am still missing the 2 piece dark meat and told them. Basically I spent 15 minutes waitingand sending these 2 ladies back to bring me my correct food by the 5th time. If you have never ate a Chicken Sandwich from Popeyes, you have to try it. Classic or Spicy only $3.99. It is the best thang... that has happen to Boaz, AL Since the outlets. This is one of the worst Popeyes that I have ever been too. I love the food, but this place in particular never gets my order... right, and they always blame it on Covid and lack of staff, I?m sorry but Covid is over and you have two people working, youshould be able to make the order right. Not once have I gone here and gotten everything I ordered right the first time. It?svery frustrating when you pay $15 for a meal just to get someone thing you didn?t want. I won?t be giving this one a chanceanymore. I would rather drive to Gadsden and get it there because I know that they will always give me what I ordered. Read more
