I dont normally post bad reviews but I felt the service my family had here was very poor. My 14 year old daughter ordered the... ?hangover? fries, basically cheese and jalapeños on it. We asked for no jalapeños, but when all the food came out it had themon it. They told us they know we ordered without but the cook told them to give it to us anyway. We asked for them to fix theorder, a 5 minute fix took 15 minutes, everyone else was served before our daughter. We finished our food before her order evencame back out. No apology no attempt to make it right. We had to take it in a to go container. The staff not very friendly, thefood sub par. Sorry but would not recommend this place. Read more

Unfortunately worse visit here twice now. Never have a selection of wine, if any available at all. How do you have a nice... large patio and not have a selection of wine in the summer. Food was over-priced, came cold and had to be sent back multipletimes. The service is atrocious, basically go up to counter in order yourself, just to be told they have no draft available, limited selection of beers and no white wine. Too bad, as the patio is nice, but doesn't make up for poor service and lousyfood. Read more

My brother and I went for lunch on the patio. He ordered the chicken sandwich and I ordered the fish tacos. The fried chicken... sandwich came out first, it was just fine - the chicken is nothing to write home about. My brother proceeded to finish his mealbefore I received mine. Apparently the fish takes longer because it needs to be fried?but we assumed the chicken also was friedso that reasoning didn?t add up. When I finally received the tacos they were barely full, the fish was the smallest morsels ofdry, chewy and extremely cold very fishy tasting fish. It was totally inedible. I don?t like to return food but I just had to.The cashier was very understanding and did give me my money back, but that type of food shouldn?t be allowed to leave thekitchen especially at the cost of 17.99. Left very hungry. Unfortunate because this place has potential. It?s a great locationand cute decor, which are probably the main reasons people enter. Read more

I am a tad disappointed. I ordered pulled pork poutine. When i received my bill it said pulled pork sandwich with side poutine... (16.99 plus 4.00). I ordered a poutine not a sandwich and that was a bun with barely 3 ounces in it. Drinks are 14.99 yet $6 afew doors down. My gf said fish tacos were super yum. People. Check your bill to avoid confusion. My bill for 2 meals under 20;final bill when i added 15% tip ended at 58.50 (we just had water). Read more

This experience was a 0, but because I can?t give you a zero, I give you a 1 ?Ate? here on July 2nd, we ordered a margarita,... the fish tacos a pink lemonade margarita and the ?bang bang? chicken burger, our bill was $80 with a 18% tip (you pay beforeanything arrives and we always tip, but the tip was not warranted) We saw saw a server walk through the patio with Janes frozenchicken in hand and were joking and also worried - $17.99 for a chicken sandwich called ?bang bang chicken? a bit of culturalappropriation and a lot of a rip off, the sandwich was aweful The fish tacos were what looked to be a frozen fish patty cutinto three and divided between three tacos, the fish was unfortunately frozen still and for the first time in my life I returnedan item of food The table next to us seemed to have issues with their service and food quality and received a refund for whatthey had The worst part of the restaurant however was the fact the umbrellas had a major safety issue and between 3-4pm THREEflew out of their tables and came crashing down on patrons, the third time this happened a patron was injured and crying and theowner was no where to be seen. Don?t eat here, I?m not against paying for an over priced drink on a hot day, but do not eathere, and watch out for flying umbrellas Read more

A group of 10 of us were in Bobcaygeon at a cottage for a bachelorette this past weekend. I reached out to a few restaurants to... choose where we should wine and dine for lunch! I spoke to Kathleen and Michelle then made a reservation and arrangements forSaturday afternoon. Needless to say, we are SO happy we chose El Patio for our outing! The service, food, atmosphere wasperfect! They went above and beyond bringing in champagne I had requested prior to the event! Such a cool spot in this beautifullittle lakefront town!! Great experience!! We will be back, can?t wait!!! Read more

Very busy, limited menu. Food was delicious, however. Tables were probably more than 6 ft apart but it was still quite crowded.... Atmosphere was great, very tropical. Read more
