The experience and food at this restaurant was exceptional. I would like to specifically mention our server, Sandy, who went... above and beyond. As I am new to the area, Sandy left me a note with many memorable places to visit/activities to see. Sandy isall around a phenomenal person and server, making this dinner extremely memorable. I cannot say enough good things abouther. All other restaurant staff were wonderful, and all of our meals were perfect. We most definitely will be returning. Read more

There is so much good to say about Chips. To start its probably the best all around steakhouse in Boca. The service is... excellent. The team effort ensures your table is taken care of and that u won't wait long for anything. We had the 32 OzTomahawk and it did not disappoint. It comes with a fresh made chimicuuri sauce that was unbelievable. The steak was cooked toperfection. I recommend the brocolini as well. To end we had the world's best Banana Cream Pie. Chops is a great spot for anyoccasion and a great spot for just a casual dinner. Thanks for the experience. Read more
Update: May 6, 2022 We haven’t been here for quite a while and so I just wanted to let everyone know how Chops Lobster Bar is... doing in 2022. We decided to have appetizers and sides as opposed to full entrée meals tonight. No special occasion, I was justreally in the mood for lobster and we know how well they do it. I started off with a cute martini cocktail call Golddigger, howapropos, lol, hubby had unsweet tea. Bread.. (SO GOOD)..with butter Appetizers.. I had lobster bisque with lobster chunks andNova Scotia lightly fried lobster tail, which was way bigger than I would expected. Hubby had Thai Calamari and Maryland CrabCakes.. we also ordered lobster mac & cheese and creamed spinach. All-around great experience, super busy restaurant but youhave to expect that when they offer such great service and delicious food. You must come if you’re looking for a greatevening, there were lots of family groups as well, everyone seemed happy and it’s a positive atmosphere. We celebrated our28th anniversary here last night, and couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. From the beginning we were greetedimmediately and sat very quickly and on time with our reservation. The ambience is muted elegance, quiet efficiency anddelicious smells. Hubby had the lightly fried calamari tossed with a spicy sweet Thai sauce, I had the jumbo lump crab cocktailfor starters. They were both delicious and very generous. Cocktails and wine selection are definitely up to par. For dinnerhubby ordered crabcakes ( loaded with large lumps of crab), and I had the special of the day which was lobster risotto withmushrooms and shaved truffles, both were outstanding. We also shared a whole pound lobster mac & cheese, terrific! Service wasimpeccable and two managers stop by just to see how our evening was going and just check in. That’s very special. The food and service here is always top notch! We started with a seafood plate 2 stone crabs accompanied by east and west coast... oysters. I normally don't undertake crab at a restaurant, too messy,, but the kitchen does all the hard work for you and cracksthe shells making it easy peasy. The bone in ribeye is decadent and charred to perfection. For our side we had the lobster Macand cheese. There were big succulent chunks of lobster throughout. I didn't especially like the cheese sauce but my date enjoyedit. There was a special side dish of wagu bolognese, yummy but needed more sauce. I also did the wagu and a fried lobster tailwhich was a different spin on traditional lobster. Todd our server brought some special in house honey mustard to dip it inwhich was so good I could have drank it. To wrap it up we finished it off with the chocolate explosion toffee cake. Would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered the salmon and this is how it showed up (refer to pic). A slab of completely unseasoned... salmon and three pieces of wet steamy unseasoned asparagus. No salt. NOTHING. I couldn’t believe I had to pay 40 dollars forthis dish that my 2 year old nephew could have prepared. My friend ordered a steak (unseasoned) with bernaise that tasted likeplay doh.
