You almost can’t have better service than this restaurant provides. First of all the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. And... nod to France with a modern twist. Have a great bar area, outdoor dining and the indoor setting is sublime. We enjoyed caviar asan appetizer that was beautifully presented, had delicious accompaniments and we enjoyed it immensely. My dish was the panseared yellowtail snapper that was perfectly prepared along with pink shrimp and butternut squash purée. Absolutely delicious.My friend tried the veal which was again delicious but not quite as outstanding as I would’ve expected. Our waiter, I wish Iremembered his name, was very attentive and sincerely interested in making sure that we had the best experience. We never waitedfor anything but he wasn’t intrusive either. My sister had a graduation dinner and it was one of the best culinary experiences of my life. All of the food was very filling... and simultaneously very tasty. While French cuisine is normally not on the top of my list for favorites, the folks at @lanouvellemaison4 are serving up one of... the better meals I’ve found in downtown Boca Raton. Most of the chatter I’ve heard was positive over the last couple years,and it had lived up to the hype surrounding it. The interior itself doesn’t do much for the senses, but the food makes up forthe lack. The keep opens with freshly baked French bread that is served in a paper bag, cute touch, with perfectly softenedbutter, of which I could have eaten a whole loaf. Just fantastic. The steak tartare served with a generous amount of caviarlaced within a brick of beef was delicious and is certainly worth a try. The scallop appetizer consisted of two nice sizescallops, cooked tenderly, atop a flavorful lentil and fennel purée that tied the dish together in a terrific fashion. The starof the evening for me was the chicken francaise seen here. Buried under the perfectly cooked veggies was maybe the most tender,buttery, well prepared version I have tried to date. Another future repeat. The crème brûlée for dessert was average at bestand would skip next time and trust the gut ordering one of the soufflé in advance. My only qualm with the visit was theservice, with it being too attentive. Our server was like a hawk, constantly buzzing over us and it became a rather point.Overall a very nice visit and even though the price points are certainly on the higher end, the quality of the meal makes itworth repeating. Having lived in Europe for over 20 years and being married to a French National this restaurant may be considered luxurious to... other folks, we were not impressed. Additionally I felt that there was a fine line between attentive wait staff and intrusive.If we are having a family meal stop coming over continually. Again nice to be doted over, but not excessively. I loved theescargots, but the steak tartare was horrible. It had no texture. It was whipped and had no taste or savor to it. And althoughBR will be a consistent sojourn for the next couple of years, I will not go back. Rather spend that money at a less pretentiousplace and enjoy myself way more.
