Great fresh Mexican food. Staff was friendly and helpful.
I've been here 2-3 times over the past six months and their chicken tacos were always fresh, tasty, really good value. But sorry... to say today wasn't good experience at all. The chicken tasted old, pretty dry, tough; and the tortillas were literally fallingapart. Good thing I had a fork. Not sure if I'll come back again. Read more
Great service and great food! We went to Carrot Express originally with a coupon but they were not interested in taking our... order. Lime employee acknowledged us as soon as we walked in and approached us at the counter to take our order within 1 minuteeven though they were making and prepping food for other customers. After having lived in South Florida for years, I left 8 years ago. One of the biggest places I missed was Lime so I was thrilled... to be back and come here. Sometimes when you miss a place, it's not as good as you remember. This was EXACTLY how I remember interms of both quality of food and the customer service. The staff were great and made good suggestions. Very friendly! The foodwas excellent. Had the fried fish tacos. Will definitely be back and try other items. Highly recommend. Read more
Use to love going here for a quick and easy dinner. This West Boca location needs some attention. It's so dirty. While waiting... to order I saw opened taco shells laying under the counter, all the kitchen appliances are disgusting dirty and rusted. There'sonly myself and one other table of two people in the restaurant and they placed my food on a table and never called my name as Istanding there waiting. Finally I ask if that's my food, it was like I was bothering the workers that were standing theretalking. Sorry either step up your game or close the doors permanently. The food was not good. I?ve held off on leaving this review for a while because I used to really like this restaurant. Today was... my third bad experience in a row and I think I?m done now. Last time I went I noticed that only one person preparing the foodwas wearing a hair net, there doesn?t seem to be any standard in that area which is definitely sus. Yesterday I really wanted tohave some tacos and they closed early. So I came back today because I was still craving tacos. These tacos don?t look appetizingat all. Lime is my fave place for quesadillas but tonight's was awful. The tortilla was barely grilled, the chicken was old and... overcooked, the onions were waaay too thick and it was all cold so the cheese didn't even melt?! And on top of that thecinnamon chips barely had any cinnamon sugar. .wtw?! What a disappointment...smh. I sincerely hope this was a 1 time fluke.
