One of the best Happy Hours in Boca! $5 menu so it won’t break the bank. Great service in a casual atmosphere, right next door... to the Marriott. We went for a quiet afternoon and were very pleasantly surprised. Bestie was visiting from Pennsylvania,staying at the Marriott so we decided to grab a quick bite here. She and I both ordered the chicken adobo flavored tacos, shehad a DosXx’s on tap and I had a vodka cran, everything was five dollars each, and we had a ball. Didn’t plan coming here but due to the slow service we received from Tap 42, decided to come here for dinner. And it exceeded... our expectations. Decor and ambience is really nice. Both indoor and outdoor bar was beautiful. We sat at the outside bar andreceived great service. Bartender was friendly and very service minded; always checking on the guest at the bar. The location is very nice. Lively and lots of very nice people. Plenty of outdoor seating. The place is very clean. Clean... bathroom. Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience. First of all our waitress, Abbey, seemed to be in a bad mood. Iignored it as much as possible, as we are all humans trying to make it. Not to mention that her job is pretty hard. But withthat being said, she was kind of rushing us. Seemed very impatient. Probably smiled once. It took a very long time before we gotour drinks. Approximately 15 minutes. But we kept on smiling and hoping that things would get better. She did apologize for thelong wait. The guacamole is excellent. They actually make it right in front of you. It was delicious. The tortilla chips, not somuch. They were just ok. Maybe a bit over cooked as well. The steak tacos were delicious. The skirt steak was very good as well.The rice was horrible. It wasn't cooked at all. Couldn't eat it. The beans not good either. The margarita, had no flavor. Theplace was very busy. I mean maybe it was because they were so busy that they couldn't take their time with the food anddrinks. I'm not the one to send my food back at any restaurant. I just never do. So we dealt with it. As usual, I kept thankingher and kept on being polite. I tipped her over 30% and then she finally smiled.
