Amazing! Papa took great care of us and helped us celebrate our friend's birthday with excitement, grandeur, and... celebration. We ordered the family style dinner ($50/person option) and it was great! It came with appetizers, meat platters,and a dessert (probably for the birthday). Such a fun environment at night, with a nice bar scene, belly dancers and outstanding food. Check out the lamb chops, stuffed... peppers spanikopita, grilled octopus, fried fresh fish, plus so much more. Ask for Papa and enjoy and wonderful evening insideor on the patio. OPA!!!! Read more

First time went here and the food was amazing, the restaurant is really beautiful you feel like you're in Greece, our waiter was... friendly although wish they would refill waters without us asking, the hummus was amazing and they give good amount we also hadsliders of their dessert which was different but interesting to try! Great food. Horrible service. Everyone at our table has finished their meals and my salad still didn’t come. (It’s been 32... min since everyone at our table was served dinner). I kindly mentioned this to the waiter. 20 min later, still no salad. 45more min go by and I gave up. Asked for check, paid the bill and got out. It’s sad that they couldn’t do the right thinghere. I own and operate a business literally next door to this establishment, I won’t be returning here or recommending it toanyone as I have been for decades. FYI, I asked our waiter “ Perhaps my salad is taking longer than normal to cook? “. 1hour and 49 min after ordering he brought it out. I told him to cancel it as we were already on dessert. What a great experience. Being Greek, and having just vacationed in Greece, we wanted some good authentic Greek food and... experience. Our local friend, Paul recommend Taverna Kyma. The concrete patio was very Greekish. The music was great but nottoo loud outside. There was even a beautiful belly dance moving around the restaurant. Our server, Valentina was Delightful, funand funny. We first had perfectly prepared Flaming Cheese and pita. Then the three of us had something different. The Moussaka,Gyros and Lamb Chops...all were authentic and delicious. The Peach Sangria that my wife had was very good. The manager Christoscame by and he was super hospitable and funny. We will insist on coming here next time and avoid Atlantic Ave. Bravo to TavernaKyma, Valentina and all of the front and back of the house staff. See you soon. Read more
