Spent a few nights at the lodge and had dinner at Drake's. We opted for the more casual fireside area and sat outside. It's... truly heaven sitting out there watching the ocean. We have two young boys so it's nice to be able to eat somewhere nicer butnot disturb other guests indoors. I had the Caesar with salmon added one night and the Salmon Poke Nachos the next. Both werefabulous. I will keep dreaming of those poke nachos! The kids menus has great options and large portions! Enjoyed a fewmargaritas too! Overall Drake's is my favorite spot in all of Bodega. We love Drakes! We have eaten at Drakes for breakfast and dinner and I must say that Drakes has the best french toast I have... ever had! They mix a soft flavorful french toast core, with a crunchy cornflake outer crust and then add a fruit compote to it!It’s scrumptious! The dinner also does not disappoint! Go visit!!! Read more
The service and food are exceptional! We only visited for breakfast, but the atmosphere was just what the doctor ordered. We did... not have reservations but that did not affect us getting amazing seats with a view. I would highly recommend this to anyonevisiting Bodega Bay! Read more

We started with the tomato salad and the scallop crudo. Neither was great. The tomatoes seemed cold which dampened their flavor,... the dish lacked salt and the sour dough croutons were totally left off the plate. The crudo just didn’t taste good. Too much“stuff” ruined what should have been a simple dish highlighting the scallops. Orchiette was ok but also lacked salt. Salmonhad a great crust to it but was overcooked and lacked flavor. Neither dessert was to our liking either. They forced a prix fixemenu which in almost every combination ended up more expensive than the individual dishes which I didn’t really appreciate. Iknow restaurants are struggle with staffing issues so I’m not going to ding them for that. Service was friendly and tryingtheir best. If you’re staying at the lodge it’s obviously a convenient option but I personally would never go back fordinner again. Breakfast saved it a star since it was pretty good. Worst vegetarian food experience. I asked for a vegetarian option and the waiter served macaroni with salt and pepper, no sauce... and was awful. I left the whole plate untouched and waiter did not have the courtesy to ask or modify the plate. Such adisappointment. Read more
