The view was amazing we LOVED the crabs. We were a group of five and one of us was allergic to crabs and shrimps, but we were... all able to get the food we want. My husband I decided to have dinner here on a spontaneous day trip to Bodega Bay. It didn't take long to get seated on a... Saturday afternoon. Service was friendly and attentive. We ordered the seafood sampler for appetizer and all the seafood tastedso fresh. Drinks from the bar were delicious and quick. The restaurant with the best view in Bodega bay. Daily fresh menus and there is a side store inside the building which sells... white clam chowder. Even though it's not on the menu, ask for the red clam chowder. The red soup which is similar to cioppino isphenomenal. Read more
Looking for a high class meal with a view? This is it! The Tides is known for its seafood and it delivered. Got the hot crab... sandwich and it was loaded with meat. This is where the classic scenes from the movie The Birds was filmed. Lots of memorabiliaon the wall. The building even has a fish market and gift shop in it. This is a must stop when visiting Bodega Bay. Read more
My wife and I always stop by here when we drive to the coast from Santa Rosa. Used as a backdrop for scenes from Alfred... Hithcock's, "The Birds" in the 1960's, The Tides Wharf & Restaurant is a beautiful scenic destination. There is a Fish marketand gift shop here as well. When we dine here, I always order a large bowl of clam chowder and a shrimp salad. It's alwaysfantastic. Today, we browsed around the gift shop and went out back and walked by the Wharf enjoying the seals in the calmwater on a day that offered a gentle warm breeze. Read more
The food was quite good, the service was decent. I would’ve liked a little bit more economical pricing, but I do recognize... that the materials that they require to provide the meals are also quite high right now. I enjoy the view, and the company aswell as our server. It’s a great way to get a quick one or two day getaway in without breaking the bank. Read more
The service was mediocre at best. Food was eh. Not much on the menu that isn't sea food. So, if you're like me amd not a... seafood eater, your options are slim. I had pesto pasta. Ambiance was cute Water views. Which is beautiful. Read more
