I had been wanting to try this restaurant for the past few years and they have this lovely little outdoor space so we waited for... a nice day to go and have brunch. Unfortunately I didn't think of making a reservation which is on me and we were told by thenot so friendly hostess that everything was reserved. We were only able to eat at the bar and the bar staff was above and beyondfriendly. The pulled pork eggs Benedict was delicious. Pricy but delicious. We throughly enjoyed our lunch here. Found this place on line while traveling through the area. We sat out on the porch and the... service was very good. We ordered all kinds of stuff and some of it was to go. I can't say I liked all the recipes, the pot piewas biscuits on a bowl of soup with celery and not much else. The crab cake on a fried green tomato was perfect. Served withgreens and dressing. The fish tacos were as expected, but not the best I have ever had. The deserts were huge! High quality food! Best Lobster bisque I?ve had. Nice balance of flavors and textures; had whole chunks of lobster in it. We... liked the slight teragon flavor infused into it. Also one of the best country fried steaks I had in Texas. Perfect meat qualityand crunchy beans. The mashed potato side comes with full chunks of potatoes in it. Nice grilled cheese. Read more

Recently visited this restaurant for the first time to celebrate our Anniversary. Excellent service and amazing food. You can... eat inside or outside on the patio. Well stocked bar and they take reservations. Can be both a casual dining experience or amore formal setting. Highly recommend this hidden gem in Boerne! Read more

Being from out of town, we were told by friends to experience Peggy?s on the Green. Last night we decided it?s where we wanted... to celebrate a birthday but upon arrival without reservations discovered it was extremely busy and a 2 hour wait. As we wereleaving, we ran into Trevor the restaurant manager, for another restaurant recommendation. He told us to give him a fewminutes and he would see what he could do for us~party of 4. Surprised and excited we were seated within minutes. Trevor~thankyou again for making this experience possible?..! The ambiance and food was nothing short of PHENOMENAL. Decided to try Peggy's for a special occasion and they made a great day better. Wonderful service, amazing food, and... knowledgeable wait staff made the whole experience very special. It is a more casual atmosphere compared to their otherrestaurant, Bohanans, but the quality is very much on par! Would absolutely go back for a memorable experience again. Read more

We decided to have dinner at Peggy's, on Sunday evening, since we were staying at The Kendall next door. We had the Blue Crab... Dip to start with a Kendall Cocktail each. My wife chose the two Pork Chops and had the Jumbo Crab Cakes. We topped dinner offwith a Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream on top. Food and Service was Great. Walter was our waiter was very good.
