My first stop into this diner and it was a bust. I was feeling corned beef hash and eggs but it can?t be canned. I asked my... server and she said it was fresh. Excellent start! Over medium eggs, home fries and rye toast. No one could Jack that up. Wellmy eggs came out over well (not broken but cooked through completely) and it ruined the rest except for the rye toast was good.I like to stir my eggs, hash and potatoes up with the yokes. No can do today. My server was friendly but never stopped in to askhow it was. Neither did the cashier. I wanted to go back in the morning but I?m have second thoughts?. This restaurant was recommended by a friend because I was with a picky eater and the menu had everything. However this is my... reason for the 3 stars. The menu was a bit overwhelming and all over the place. The food was OK. My bill was roughly 20 bucksand change...I ordered an unsweetened tea and the french dip sandwich, and that's it. First off, they have housemade corned beef hash. The portion was a bit small but it was pretty good. Homefries are average. The... waiter was awful. He didn't introduce himself & only checked on us when he brought our food. Oh, and the apple juice wasbasically apple-infused water. Very disappointing. It's a nice diner and service is prompt, which can sometimes be difficult for those of us in the know. Never had to ask for a... refill or extra napkin, seems like a stupid statement but if you eat out frequently you'll understand. I did go off hours butthere seemed like plenty of help. Dang, disregard, I recently visited a diner in queens and had the same experience which ialready commented on.
