What a experience!! My waiter was smoking hot too!! I got the A5 , the eye of the ribeye from snake river gold standard, Maine... lobsters... everything was perfect!! They definitely need a bigger champagne ???? selection!! The A5 is insane !!! I also gotthe lobster mac and wild Alaskan halibut to go for lunch tomorrow.. great place to to eat a nice steak dinner!! Chandler’s is a staple of Downtown Boise. This restaurant is a local classic and more than just a dining destination. It’s a... blend of the upscale Niche of Idahoans who enjoy a refined palate, with the air of a simultaneous effortlessness. Do yourself afavor- order the Oysters Rockefeller to start. The Tuna Tower is divine, and any of the steaks are guaranteed to beperfectly-cooked and with just the right amount of complimentary accompaniments. Absolutely delicious food! The atmosphere was so romantic with low lighting and live music. (The singer sounded like Michael... Buble). Our waitress gave great recommendations and explained the menu with beautiful detail. They even gave us a complementarydessert for our anniversary. More than worth it. Had the very basic filet mignon and it was superb in flavor and it was a true "medium". Had a baked potato... with it, along with a really nice red. Staff was amazing and really knew the menu. Did vanilla ice cream and a white dessertwine to end the meal. Live jazz started around 5:30pm. Walked in at 4:30pm to get a bar seat, and it had already filled up. Dida martini to start the evening and it was superb. I'll visit this place whenever I visit Boise. Read more

I decided to take my wife to Chandler’s for our Anniversary. From the moment my wife and I were seated at the Bar for a... couple of drinks, and then on to our table, we were treated like we mattered. The food and service was excellent! Chandler’sis not a restaurant to go to if you are on a budget. Our dinner was approximately $450.00 for everything, but it was worth doingonce a year. The live music created a nice ambiance. Great place for a nightcap and, obviously dining. Didn’t have a chance to try their menu, they are booked solid for the time... we were in town, but we scored seats at the bar after our night out to round out our evening. Reservation highly recommended.Thursday night was jazz night and it was excellent. Elegant establishment with five star food, libations, ambiance and service.*Returned for a nightcap Sunday and found out there is live jazz every night! Ordered some escargot and a couple cocktails, trythe 10 minute martini! We enjoyed the pithy bartenders and their anecdotal history. Fun bar to chill at. Read more

Chandlers is the premier restaurant in Boise. The wine selections are some of the best I've encountered, especially in the Boise... area. Service is top flight and each table is given excellent, individualized attention. No detail is overlooked. While thedining room area located by the bar and front windows can be a bit noisy, the main dining is separated into sections and is veryquiet and enjoyable. I have dined here on three occasions and was never disappointed during any of them. Although they offer aestablished selection from the main menu, their specials are outstanding and I never make it past them. I recently came for aweekend "Staycation" for my wife's birthday. We had the pleasure of being waited on by Craig. He delivered service that was toptier and ensured both evenings were the very best. Our first evening was more of a drop-in than planned and we were only comingin for dessert. This can be troublesome for some 5-star restaurants and not always a boon for a professional waiter. Craig madecertain we felt welcome and did not diminish his level of attention at all. The selections at Chandlers are too wide to list.Yes, this is an expensive choice of dining, but having worked for years in 5-star Michelin restaurants, I highly recommendChandlers and will return again and again.
