The Beef Salad was wonderful! Thin slices of beef, julienne carrots, cucumber, and cabbage, topped with really, REALLY fresh... (like garden grown) tomatoes and cilantro (the perfect, but underused herb in many Thai restaurants I've visited). My meal washuge and came with enough rice to feed two people or more. I took home about 2/3ds ? believe it or not, right out of thecarton, COLD, it was delicious two days later! BONUS! The wait staff was really great. My husband inadvertently misread themenu (his "bad"?glasses are a good thing). Despite that, our server asked if they could replace his dish. Being a good guy, hesaid, "no thanks." Turned out, he LOVED whatever it was he mistakenly ordered! ? We'll be regulars, believe me! One caveat: "Heat" ranges from 1-5. I got a 2.5. Well, next time I'll get a 2.0. However, I'm afraid of Chihuahuas, Mormon crickets, andclowns. (Only reason I gave Chiang Mai fours stars vs. five is ambiance needs work). Read more
