Came in right before dinner to a clean dining room and a fast moving staff. We got our food very quickly; it was hot and fresh,... and tasty. The staff was extremely sweet, professional, and hardworking. We really appreciated the food, the yummy sundae, andmost of all the staff. This is a pretty darn good place to eat. The burgers are great, the patties are different than your standard fast food burgers.... Their fries are pretty good. I don't normally like shoestring fries, but they don't overcook them like a different unnamedCalifornia based burger joint that doesn't even deserve to be considered next to Freddy's. Read more

I absolutely found a new favorite fast food place today. This was delicious! ????The fries are better than McDonald's and I... didn't think anybody had better fries than McDonald's, steakburger was awesome, and the frozen custard you can get all kinds ofdifferent stuff in, I got brownie chunks in mine, so good! I came here on a Sunday night and there were two girls working up front who were FANTASTIC. That said, it was clear they were... understaffed. Huge drive thru line, restaurant was a disaster, and they were serving people with a smile. Frankly, shame on thefranchise owner for this situation. A GOOD franchise owner would be there working side by side with them, or would make surethey have adequate staffing. Instead, they are burning these people out. Nice staff, good tasting food, but very dirty. Bathrooms were clean as we were the first to use them, but in the dining area and... kitchen you could see grime everywhere you looked, and it smelled dirty. Will not be surprised if I get sick later. Read more

Freddie?s and I were both born in Kansas. I love the concept and think the food is always a notch or two above standard fast... food. It?s made to order with quality ingredients. I wanted to share my experience today at the Freddie?s location in Boise. Ihad just gotten off a long plane ride from Atlanta and needed a late lunch. I pulled up to the drive thru and Austin introducedhimself over the speaker with a voice that actually sounded like he wanted to be there. He took my order, read it back to me andgreeted me at the window. Austin is one of those employees that make a brand. His soft skills?the ability to interact withcourtesy and friendliness?were impeccable. I wanted to call his parents and tell them they should be proud of the son theyraised. My food was fresh and tasty?but it was my brief interaction with Austin that made my visit to Freddie?s today memorable.I called the restaurant to talk to a manager and let Sarah (the manager answered the phone), who was also a superstar atcustomer service, know she had a winner on her team. 3 Stars - "It's OK" When entering the building, there was an odd smell. Not like a cleaning product or a rotting smell, just a... smell that felt like stangnate air. Then, the ordering part. Love the options. Almost tooany options for a walk up orderingsituation. But, the Double Burger was an obvious choice. (Noticed on a poster later that singles and triples are available onrequest.) We ordered a Concrete and a Shake, along with fries for our burgers. Mom was amazed with her Shake; she said it was"awesome". The fries were skinny, and they lacked a crispy exterior.
