Reviews for Nara Ramen & Izakaya - Boise in Boise, ID
New favorite ramen place. I loved all the options for customization. We ordered delivery and the packaging was perfect,... everything was the right temp and cook. Sesame balls great, gyoza cooked at a perfect pan fry, karaage done well with yummysauce. Generous portions, perfect broth. The milk tea was too floral for my taste, but I'm not a big bubble tea fan. Service was great and food was amazing. Will definitely be back. Chicken karage and the black garlic tonkatsu ramen are must... tries. Got the tori ramen gluten free and the noodles were a good texture. Read more
Didn?t know what to expect. I?m new to Ramen- and I?ve seen their ads on FB. Their black garlic Tonkotsu is really delicious.... The broth is really tasty. The best part is how fast the food came to our table. Great place. Read more
This was our first time here. I wasn't sure what to expect. First, the staff was AMAZING! The gal who helped us was... knowledgeable and friendly. Next, the food presentation was beautiful! The flavor though was different. The broth on the ramenwas delicious. I had the chicken ramen. The chicken was sa few pieces of bigger sliced chicken breast. It was tough and hard tochew. The boba drinks weren't our favorite. We make the brown sugar one at home and it's delicious. So, we ordered one there. It was so bad we threw it away. Eek! $6 down the tube. However, they were beautiful in the cup. Haha! The price was spendy. Wewent at 11:00 am for lunch. There were 5 of us and it was $110.00 Would we go back? Probably not, simply because the food anddrinks were not spectacular and the price was way too high. Read more
Overall rating: 4.8 out of 5 Recommended order: -Brown sugar milk tea with boba (they use jasmine green milk tea as... base) -Gyoza -Black garlic tonkotsu ramen with extra marinaded egg Not my most favorite, it was ok: -Pork chashu bao (thinslice and dry chashu) basically the Chinese version of Mcdonalds? McChicken sandwich -Pork chashu bowl (same issue with chashubeing dry) -Thai tea (just average. I usually prefer more spiced or bolder tea flavored Thai tea) Read more
Finally! I found my favorite ramen shop. The portion is generous and the ramen is delicious. Rich broth, tender melt in your... mouth pork and the chili paste isn't too spicy but enough to give it a nice kick. Read more
