My husband and I thought we'd give this place one more try (only due to our favorite restaurant being closed tonight) I ordered... one of their burgers which I'm sure would have actually been pretty good except that it was cold. We also ordered an appetizerthat came out about a minute before our dinner. My dinner salad was the last thing to arrive. My husband stated his dinner wouldhave also probably been alright if it was actually warm, (Mac &cheese). Best thing was my fries which were super hot! I knowour waitress was new and for the most part her service was ok. Read more

Walked in and found a seat at the bar. Had wonderful and fast service. Ordered a Starburst Margarita, it was the perfect sweet... and tart taste. Pickle Chips, we ordered with Ranch though it comes with Rosette sauce. Lastly, we ordered Mac and Cheese withPork Carnitas and Jalapeños. Our waitress/bartender, was kind and quick with the drinks. The restaurant was just busy enough,to feel good to be out on a Friday night. Read more

The cheese on the nachos was burned. Took 33minutes to get our appitizer. Than meal was out 2 minutes later. Burger was super... gross it was just soaked in oil fat. As former chef and restraunt manager this is just not right. Salmon portioning was smalland was over cooked. You will get a better and bigger cut at shari's. Place looked cool but lacks quick and responsive service. Read more

A lot has changed over the years since I've been to the Ram. The armadillo eggs were always a favorite, I walked almost a mile... from downtown to get them and the recipe is different now. They were pretty dry. Sandwich was good and the bartender wasnice. Read more

Edited: It seems like the management is engaged and has requested feedback. That is awesome, I bumped my rating up a... bit. Vegan options are limited, but that patio is still one of the best in the Treasure Valley!!! I grew up with thisrestaurant being one of the most favorite spots to have a family dinner. After getting back to the valley, from being away for20 years, I unfortunately have to say that the Ram has passed its prime...???? But! They do have an impossible burger sovegans you have AN option. I think they might have had a salad which you could make vegan, but 99% of the menu was meat based. While a I was a bit let down with the dinner options, the patio still did not disappoint. The patio is adjacent to thegreenbelt and the Boise River, and it is amazing still to be in that environment with all of the sounds and smells while you eatdinner. Read more

Great brew pub in the heart of Boise close to pretty much everything. Brandon was the best server, honest about what was good... and had a suggestion for everything, attentive but not over bearing. Tried all the beer, thanks to Brandon. Went with the Amberand the Hefe. Both great. The amber was light but full flavored and the Hefe had hints of banana and clove (I know, not standardbut dang good). The food was great. The beer cheese was great, but didn't have a real beer flavor. Amazing none the less. Thechicken sandwich was fried perfectly and not the least bit greasy. A little spice but anyone would like it and the bun wastoasted just right leaving the bread crispy and chewy. Read more
