Great food and fantastic service!! Our server was Courtney and she was wonderful. We had a large group and was very good even... with several other tables she made sure we were taken care of. We would definitely recommend the restaurant! I had the SmokedSalmon Benedict ???? it was great but I would have liked a bit more salmon but I love smoked salmon so, I did love the slightvinegar acidity on the greens which was a wonderful contrast to the sauce. I try to order pork rib but visiting too early so don’t have. Then I order brisket sandwich and I found the meat is so... flavorful and so smokey. Weird name, good Q. My brisket sammy and succotash was almost too much food. That brisket was actually smoked proper,... reminiscent of what you’d find at a non-famous joint in a small town in Texas. Sure they dressed it up with the fixings onthe sammy to make it fancy for the fancy folks in this fancy neighborhood, but don’t let that deter you from going in. What the hell! This is a bit of the South right here in Boise. Real smoked meats from a ‘stick burner’ smoker - the real... deal! We read about this place and had to try it. We have traveled extensively through the Southern US sampling all kinds of“Q” and this was right up there with the best. I had shrimp and grits and my wife had the brisket tacos. Since it was herbirthday we celebrated with 2 Bloody Mary’s with brisket! The staff was fantastic and very efficient. This will be on our listfor multiple return visits. Read more
Wonderful food in a cozy tucked away little spot. You will see the huge smoker and stacks of wood as you enter this little gem... of an eatery. We went for a friend's birthday and the staff is friendly and attentive, the menu is definitely unique to theplace and the food is delightful.
