What a perfect crust! And a wide selection of fillings. My wife, who once lived in Argentina, said it was very good and... authentic. Read more

This place is awesome and I?m shocked at some of the bad reviews. Their food is delicious, surprisingly affordable and I love... that it?s family owned. I feel like some of the people who left nasty reviews on here are the same people who give 5/5 toApplebees and fast food joints. ???? If you want delicious food that?s affordable and to support a local, family business thenlook no further. Read more

Absolutely delicious empanadas. The savory options are flavorful and filling and the dessert empanadas are decadent. It does... take a bit of time to prepare/fry them once you order at the counter, so be prepared for that if you're in a hurry, but it feltvery reasonable - I think I waited about ten minutes for my order to be completed, including a couple orders before mine. I'vehad a great experience every time I come here. There is parking in the back, and although it's a small space there is seatinginside and a bit outside. Read more

First time here, what a treat! The empanada crust was perfect, and the fillings are delicious. Get the breakfast empanada. These... folks know how to scramble an egg. :) Read more

I've been here a couple of times and have really enjoyed it both times. I had the gaucho and the Moleh as savory and the Dulce... de Leche for sweet. The only downsides were a bit of a wait time and the Dulce de Leche was really messy, but that's not a badthing! Read more

POSITIVES: It's no surprise that this place is always hopping! Even during a pandemic, this amazing little hole-in-the-wall... won't fail to provide guests with the same quality food and experience every time. The food is made to order, so expect a littlewait. It's worth it. Every bite is like a flavor adventure through a porteño's dream. You will salivate just thinking about it(the food I mean). Not to mention the nostalgia for those who are familiar with the Argentine delicacies that are empanadas.Equally impressive was the Tango Sub, a milanesa sandwich (flat steak that is breaded and fried, with tomato, lettuce, onion).Their churros are on par with what you'd expect from, say, Disneyland. Let's keep this place in business forever! NEGATIVES:the place is a little drafty, and quite tight for space. I do wish the empanadas were served with a side of limón wedges or asalsa of some sort. PRICE: $7-10 per person. Can't wait to return on my next visit to Boise! Would love to try those dessertempanadas. Read more

Passing through Boise & I'm going to have to come back to town just to eat empanadas here- absolutely amazing! I used to be sad... about Taco Bell getting rid of their caramel apple empanadas but the dulce de leche empanada here destroys that one with oozinggooey deliciousness, just incredible! Read more
