Fantastic down to earth staff. Friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, too. Great food with good portions. Make sure to get... the homemade biscuits, Macaroni and Cheese and pecan pie. Read more

The food was on the better side but we though the fried chicken would be better. There was a hair in my breakfast bowl which... happens but they happily took it off the bill. Grits were eh, Mac and cheese was dry. Waited 50 mins for our food from ordering. They get very busy on the weekends so it’s understandable. Wouldn’t knock it to do not go at all, but we won’t go again. Read more

We wanted to try this restaurant so we went for lunch. The place was almost empty, just a few tables were filled. Our waitress... was quiet with no smiles but, she did her job. The food was okay. We both had chicken. My hubby said his chicken tasted like itcooked the day before. My chicken sandwich was hard and hard to eat. The macaroni and cheese was good but, not hot. The mealwas fair but, nothing to write home about. Read more

Let me tell you I am from South Carolina, so I’ve had my fair share of southern food. On top of that my boyfriend is a trained... chef.. This was some of the best food we have ever had! We were in and out in 45 minutes. Service was great and food was evenbetter!! The fried chicken was perfect and delicious and the grits were incredibly creamy. If you love pickles I highlyrecommend the fried pickles for an appetizer. Not to mention it’s so hard to find good sweet tea in the north, but the sweettea here was perfect!! We will be back! Cute little place if you wanna go out to eat downtown. Our server was really nice and tried to help us out to the best of her... ability. Booked a reservation and was sat right away, the unfortunate part was that my friends chose to sit outside on thepatio. (Which was decorated elegantly.) it was nice at first but when the sun was setting it was cold and windy and we asked ourwaitress if we could move inside but due to our mistakes it was an hour wait to get seated inside ): she did try her best andeven offered a blanket to us too, which I thought was very sweet. We decided to just get our stuff to go so we can go home andeat where it was warm. Waitress was really nice and understanding too. My only complaint would be to put some sort of heatersoutside that way more people can enjoy the patio. But over all good experience and tasty food ???? I’ll be going back ! Read more

Service and atmosphere are great, and the bloody mary was delicious. But the food really missed the mark. Very bland, chicken... was greasy, egg was overcooked, gravy was underseasoned and heavy. The waffles were great but you really have to try to screw upa waffle. We probably won't return. Read more
