1st time at the Bolingbrook Promenade Mago Grill & Cantina. My friend and I sat outside. The weather was nice. We weren't that... hungry so we only had appetizers. This was our 1st experience at Mago. We had the dragon fruit margaritas...so refreshing. The calamari was perfectly battered and... cooked. I loved the mushroom, spinach and caramelized onion enchiladas. My husband enjoyed his salmon. We will be back! Read more
Oh my! One of the best places I have been in a long time. We went in for lunch. I had tacos (menu is a la cart, so i choose 3... different tacos... steak, chicken, poblano), he had enchiladas (2 chicken, 1 beef), we also ordered the guacamole and chipsfor an appetizer (which they make table side!). We traded the rice between our dishes. He had a regular margarita, I had thepineapple and coconut one. The margaritas were so so good! We've even talked about going back for just the guacamole andmargaritas! Definitely a must try! Service was great. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. The complimentary chips were warm and crisp. The chips come with a 3... salsa selection. All 3 were very good. I had the flat iron steak in a mole sauce. It was cooked perfectly! Sangria wasmarvelous. Highly recommend this place. Read more
Very nice restaurant. Staff is friendly and will make you happy, knowledgeable about the menu as well. Food was exceptional!... Best Mexican food I have had so far. Drinks are strong and delicious! Note that if you sit on the outside patio and it starts torain, they will give you boxes for the food but won't be able to move you inside. Read more
