My wife and I had lunch today (Saturday) at this place; not only the food and lack of selection were very much below average,... this place charged us $17.50 per person, plus an "inflation charge" of 10% which came out to $3.50, plus regular sales tax.While $3.50 may not sound all that much; however, no where in this restaurant did they disclose this charge to their customers.They just ring it up without telling you about this charge, and it's up to you to discover it. I just happened to notice itafter I paid and sat down at the table. This is not how honest or ethical establishments operate! But the weird thing thathappened is that the server comes to your table as soon as you sit down, asks you for the receipt and then takes it and keepsit. She took MY copy of the receipt! I had to call her back and firmly demand that I get my receipt back. She reluctantly gaveit back to me but only after she talked to and took permission from the shyster at the front door. I don't recommend this placebecause of the food, selection and dishonest behavior of their manager/cashier. Please stay away from this place! Read more
Definitely won’t be coming back unfortunately. The price I paid doesn’t sit right with me. Some how my total was $100,... wasn’t until I realized after leaving and looking at the board that he charged me for 5 adults when there was only 3 and 2kids! Even witnessed a family leave because he tried ripping them off and the women questioned him about what he was chargingher! Which is what made me double check the board before leaving. I went in around 3pm, unbenounced to me lunch ends at 330pm. I eat, take my time. Get up 30mins later to get seconds and I see... there are a few new items out that I hadn’t noticed before. I grab a plate to get seconds and a lady comes up to me loudlystating in broken English that I can’t have that, she said if I wanted it I needed to pay $16 since that was part of dinnerand not lunch. I was fine with that but uncomfortable with how loudly she spoke to me. I head over to grab dessert and anothergentleman walks up to me and asks “are you done “ I said “no” he said whatever you get make sure you eat it. Don’twaste anything, I laughed because I was so shocked to see how aggressive they were. The food is below average and the servicewas even worse. I really wanted to like this place but the service made it unbearable. Also the same women threw out a couplesfood who went to the bathroom without asking. Eat there with the right expectation or you will be disappointed. For the price, the food is pretty good. The interior is dated... and atmosphere is depressing. A good place to go if you just want a quick fix of panda express kind of Chinese food. A quick eatand go. Read more
On the pricier side, especially dinner (over the weekend is even more expensive - 20 plus dollars with no drink or tip... included!) food is decent, nothing to rave about but you can eat as much as you want! XD my favorite is the MEAT! (they haveplenty of noodles, chicken, a few seafood during lunch; crab & whole shrimp at dinner but that will cost you more) Make sure notto come on Monday because it is closed. Our party of 20 showed up paid, ate, and during the time they never picked up our dishes once and our drinks were refilled once... seemed understaffed even after we left the other tables were never cleaned there were 3 other parties in the same room Read more
I was a little suspicious of this buffet because of the reviews but I was impressed. Good quality, hot food, plenty of variety,... friendly staff. It's a 10. The floor was a little slick so be careful in some parts. Read more
This place never had any atmosphere but it was one of the favorite places for me and two of my old friends to pig out and catch... up with each other before the pandemic. It was a solid 4 stars for food back then, but is barely a two star now. One third ofthe steamer tables now have no food for dinner. No cold shrimp and no crawdads for dinner. Instead of a selection of 8 ice creamtubs before the pandemic, the selection is now 4 tubs and two of those tubs are almost empty. An adult costs $20 for dinner anda $1 tip jar is at the hibachi grill. The plate remover also brings you a tip plate with a fortune cookie. This is now a $22meal.
