Being a Vietnamese born and raised person it's hard to find good chinese food in or near Bolton. I'm happy to say that for both... Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine Pho Captain does it the best in Bolton!!! Their Pho dac biet is always good! the Cantonese stylecrispy chow mien is done beautifully! On top of it being tasty when you order it to go they put the crispy noodles in it's owncontainer so that way it doesn't get soggy! Read more

Food is not the greatest, restaurant needs major renovations, washrooms smell really bad, price is high for the service and... food. I don't understand how people give this place good ratings, maybe they never had anything better or because it's theonly one in Bolton. If you like Pho stay away. Read more

Taste was a just not for me. I just went in to have the pho, it was a little underwhelming. Initial impression - Good... fragrance, colour was not very deep or rich, presentation was simple. The Broth (5/10) - As mentioned the colour was a littleon the lighter side, the taste was ok, a little too sour which could work. I think the broth was a little too muddled. It mayhave been from the beef slices that were cooked in the broth. it was not as smooth clean as I would have liked. Beef (6/10) -Simply put a little too fatty for me, I think a bit of fat is ok, however too much muddles the broth. Noodles (2/10) - Too softand overcooked. Having such intense fatty flavours and textures would work, unfortunately the noodles were too soft and did nothold much substance. Noodles should hold a neutral texture and flavour to balance the bowl. because it was too soft, it wasabsorbing more of the fat, from either the broth or the beef, it was hard to tell. By the end it was almost a littlegamey. Overall - The pho was ok, I do not think i would have it again, however i am interested in some of the other Chinesedishes if those are more the resturaunt?s forte. Read more

Food is good. Small serving portions though. Service could be better. This place is clean and its staff are friendly.
