Hands down the best meal we have ever had in the Bolton/LG area. Between the two of us we have been coming to the LG area for... 15+ years but have never dined here until 8/14. You can tell this is a family run establishment and the owner makes sure to stopby each table to check in. Our table "issue" was rectified immediately (we initially were seated RIGHT under the speak for thelive music and would not have been able to have a conversation). The hostess was able to move us to a table further away whichwas very much appreciated. The food (apps, entrees and dessert) were all amazing and JUST the right portion size. Heard about this place from a couple staying at our hotel, and so glad we did! My husband has ordered many a lobster bisque, and... this one ranked on the top of his list. A good lobster bisque is not overly “creamy”, and actually tastes like lobster. Thisone hit all the marks. Our 11 year old twins ordered the seafood special, which was red snapper, and the other one had tuna. Itwas their first time trying red snapper and we all loved every bite.. from the fish down to the last piece of rice. The othertwin has had tuna before, but like the lobster bisque, this ranked on the top of his list. They served it over fried rice, whichwas also amazing with crunchy rice bits. Both plates were wiped clean. This is a family owned restaurant. They were all workingthe night we were there and the service was amazing. Highly recommend. Excellent food and service... Tailored to you. Great wines too and everything is priced fairly. The shrimp appetizer and the... razor clams were delicious! Tuna was perfect... The key lime pie and chocolate cake were spot on... The best part was the addedtouch from David and his Wife! I hate glowing reviews but they deserve this one! If you are in the area, go eat there! Absolutely loved everything we had, from the shrimp bruschetta, the drinks, to the entrees (sea bass and filet minion), there... wasn’t anything we didn’t enjoy. Family owned and run, you can see the love and passion for wonderful dining. Everyone wasengaging, we had wonderful conversations with Skyler and Earl. Owner David went out of his way to ask us how we enjoyed ourevening, it’s personal experiences like this you don’t get at majority of restaurants. Phenomenal!! Have been coming to LG/BL for a couple decades and have been going to Beyond the Sea every year since they opened.... The food is the best in town, and I have been to all of the restaurants, old and new. The service is stellar, attentive, notoverbearing, GREAT experience. The menu is always creative and inviting, usually have trouble deciding what to have because Iknow it is going to be great no matter what I pick. This year, it was just as good, if not better, and had to leave a reviewhere. Especially after being unexpectedly disappointed by two other go to spots in town. Ambience, ?? Food, ?? Service,??
