Ordered the ribeye medium rare and NY strip medium; they came out medium well and well done. Server did not come back to the... table for 30+ minutes. When told that the steaks were overcooked, we were chastised by the waitress, and told "that's why wecome and check 5 minutes later to make sure they're cooked to your liking", which of course she didn't do. Honestly, after beingcharged full price (300+), no visit from the manager, I feel like we were literally robbed by this place. Read more

5 of 6 fillets overcooked. Service fare at best. Not worth the money.
This place just keeps going downhill at half price the steaks still not worth it. How do you burn a 75 dollar steak? Not a drop... of fluid left in it. I think they get their steaks from Topps. Cant remember last time i had to season a steak that expensive noflavor. Read more

Definitely not upscale.. my wife's steak came out wrong twice! Manager who never introduced herself came to the table dropped... the plate on the table with a flashlight told us how to cut a steak to find out if it was cooked right never followed up on thesecond steak ....A $184 and you can't make a steak right and you don't even come and apologize, take anything off the bill oreven check the second steak and tell us that your Chef said its right place is a joke will never return! Obviously the place has been around for a while and has not taken any interest in updating anything in the restaurant. ... Although part of the Sagamore it is not located within the Resort. It's a couple of miles away out of town at the golf course,which was a total mistake on our part because we thought it was part of the resort at the lake. They seated us on the porchwhich contains uncomfortable wooden chairs with no padding which are so uncomfortable, it contains lighting so you feel likeyou're at a cafeteria, and no ambience or music whatsoever so that you can distinctly hear your neighbor's conversations. Thefood was average. We ordered steak, it did not come out hot and it was served on dinner plates which kept no heat in thesteak. This is allegedly a steakhouse, they should know better and serve their stakes on metal plates that keep the steak hot.The dinner's plates were shaped so that your fork would roll off the dinner plate onto your lap if you were not careful, thishappened to both of us sitting at the table. The wine list contained no French wines. The entire evening was a totaldisappointment. I would not recommend this place to anybody, It was expensive, had no atmosphere, and was actually a bitdepressing. The hostess and waitress were very nice, but I don't only want a nice host and nice waitress I want a totalwonderful dining experience and this restaurant does not deliver that.
