My wife and I had such a terrible experience at this restaurant. We were very excited to try this restaurant since all reviews... were mostly positive. My wife ordered a Margarita pizza and I had ordered the pasta Bolognese and asked the waiter not to putcheese on my pasta for I am allergic to Dairy. When the pasta came out, you can clearly see that there was melted cheese mixedin it, when I told the waiter, he took my plate and came back saying that there was no cheese in the plate when AGAIN you cansee cheese. Now I am not the type to ever send my food back so I already felt uncomfortable asking but requested that My meal bechanged to the steak instead and asked for Medium rare. Once my steak finally came out it was raw in the center and at thispoint we just wanted to leave. My wife did not enjoy her pizza but on a positive note the Tuscan Salad was good. Read more
La Bella Vita Ristorante is located in the beautiful resort, Sycamore, that overlooks Lake George in Bolton. Parking is free and... when the weather is nice, you can eat outside. Even in the winter, they had a heated, covered patio available. The restaurant isso beautiful. It?s worth coming just for the views. The prices are typical of NYC prices. Read more
Very good presentable dishes, however some meals are cooked differently. I got steak frites, asked well done, it came a little... burned. Overall very delicious and tasty. Tuscan salad was very good, highly recommended. Read more
Cane here for our anniversary dinner. Service and food impeccable. Staff very attentive. Salmon was fresh and well prepared.... Prices reasonable. Great atmosphere. Will definitely be back! Read more
It looked nice, the views were pleasant, the food was average while being pricey. It is convenient if you are staying at or... visiting the resort and wanted something to dress up for. The appetizers were generally better than the entrees. I personallyenjoyed the chicken saltimbocca and the short rib. The fillet duo was ok. I heard that the lobster tail was not good so maybestay away from that. The pizza is really not their specialty and I honestly didn't enjoy it much at all. All in all, go forthe atmosphere and convenience but dont hope for the best meal of your life. Read more
I had seen some low reviews of this place so I was concerned it would be ?hotel restaurant? quality. It was ok because we were... really going for the ambiance and view. I was so wrong. The food was amazing. All of the meat was clearly cooked by veryskilled chefs. The filet was a perfect rare, the short rib almost disintegrated, and the chicken saltimbocca was the best I?veever had. This place is gorgeous, everyone is beautiful. But at the end of the day, I still payed $30+ for chicken parmesan that tasted... OK and was visibly rushed. Our dinning experience was underwhelming. We were promised early ordering for our 3 toddlers whichthey quickly forgot about, we had to leave our table with them to entertain them outside while we waited. Buy, it's stillgorgeous :) Read more
I?ve never had a fine dining experience be over in 90 minutes flat with a group of 6 before. We didn?t even eat dessert, and the... waiter had the check ready for us before he even offered the dessert menu. Myself and 5 girlfriends were out celebrating 3birthdays (mine included) and it took us over 15 minutes of sitting there to get water (which was only filled once) and thewaiter never introduced himself. He wrote everything down yet the apps were wrong and one person in our party did not get thefood she ordered until the rest of us were done. The cocktails arrived when we were halfway done with our meal and thecomplimentary bread didn?t come until our appetizers were finished, too. Overall the experience was not good.
