The Chateau was excellent. A Bolton landing /Lake George must for a romantic dinner. Back patio has a great view. My wife and I... went for the weekend and her birthday and had the chateaubriand and lamb lollipops bother amazing as nd with every penny. Alsoenjoyed the seafood tower with some extra oysters. We went for our anniversary. The restaurant is charming with a Lakeview if you’re lucky enough to snag a window seat. The... staff had decorated our table with the rose petals and a lovely congratulations anniversary note. The wedge salad was excellent.And the New York sirloin with truffle mashed potatoes and asparagus was perfect. The desserts , chocolate torte and raspberrylemon cake were both delicious. Staff was great, the ambience was ok, but at a 1/8 full restaurant got put in a corner. The food was over everything. Too much... truffle, etc. couldn’t eat half as the portions were massive. Dunno who they paid to get the “top 100 romantic spots”badge. Read more
We went for our anniversary. Staff, service and ambiance was great. The food left a lot to be desired especially considering the... price. Bread and appetizers were good. The salad was basic. The main courses were way too heavy and flavors were all clumpedtogether. We had no desire to take leftovers home. The dessert was basic….something you could buy at the local grocery store. Read more
I was invited to a private dinner which was outside on the lawn for around 40 guests. The service was excellent and the food... just as well. There was a band of two playing background music which added to the overall atmosphere. The wait staff was veryattentive and did everything that you would expect. We came to the Chateau for dinner during our girls fall weekend trip to Bolton Landing, & the bartender Jordan absolutely made... our weekend the best!! The food was delicious, and Jordan’s crafted cocktails and vibrant personality are what truly made ourweekend so special. Jordan had wonderful drink recommendations including an Almond Joy martini, and was happy to create specialFall flavored mocktails for our mama -to-be.
